Comments about REI Comfort Lounger XL Chair:
This is one of the most comfortable camp chairs I have ever used. Took it to Scout camp and spent the week chasing everyone, adults and Scouts, out of my chair. Several good naps were had, much relaxation enjoyed. The only downside is that this beast is heavy, it's not a backpacking chair. Of course a lightweight chair would fold under my well padded posterior so it serves its purpose perfectly. Need a good napping chair? Buy this chair but also get a stick to keep the squatters out.

when will manufacturers learn that cupholders are mandatory on this type of camp furniture?

Comments about REI Comfort Lounger XL Chair:
You can't beat this chair. I bought it when it went on sale so you can't beat the price. The XL is worth the extra money folks...no matter what your size it's just a more comfortable chair.
The build quality is fantastic must have been some older models, plus who cares REI stands behind all their products anyways. If you want a chair that other will envy after a long days hike, or hell just to kick it out on your deck buy this chair.

Comments about REI Comfort Lounger XL Chair:
Just received this as a gift this weekend. Chair was comfortable but difficult to get out of and bulky. Easy to nap in. Locks can pinch. Worst feature is construction: three of four armrest end pin/screws fell out. Some are lost. Makes chair dangerous. Either poor assembly or poor design construction. Get another chair.

Comments about REI Comfort Lounger XL Chair:
I use this chair for the lake and for sitting out on my deck at home. I also take it inside for reading. I'm 6'3" and built wide. Its extra width is helpful, but the length (at head and feet) comes up short. I need to place a pillow under the feet to extend my legs w/o discomfort at my achilles tendons over the end bar.

Comments about REI Comfort Lounger XL Chair:
I bought this chair last year because a friend had one. The first time I sat in it I knew that no other chair would do. All my friends love it also, when I get up they get in it. I am going to buy another one so I have one for scouting and one for my wife.
