Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
My (pregnant) wife and I went looking for better seating for the upcoming outdoor concerts at the zoo. These chairs are great because they are so incredibly comfortable, and they slip underthe 24" maximum height rule. We used them this past weekend, and my 9 month pregnant wife was very comfortable sitting in them for an hour while we watched a bike race.
My only complaint is that they are difficult to carry, or at least confusing to figure out the best way to use the shoulder strap. I gave up and instead just carried them by holding onto the tubes and carrying by my side, thankfully they are very light weight.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I take this chair to the beach, it's wonderful, light, close to the ground, magazine pouch, and over the shoulder strap. Also great for board games in the backyard!!

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I bought this chair for my girlfriend to use at ultimate games. It is very sturdy and exceptionally comfortable. I have a Kelsyus Backpack Chair, but this one is far more sturdy. I love the sliding pad on it that hits my lumbar perfectly. The only negative is that it does not pack up as small as many other chairs that are out there.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I LOVE this chair! It's super comfy and I like the fact that the pillow slides up and down the back for where ever you need support (lumbar up to the shoulders).
Two downsides:
1) It folds in half, not into a tube. This can be a storage and transport problem (however, the shoulder strap is nice for carrying to the outdoor concert!) and
2) Your cat will take it over to sleep on! Yes...it IS that comfy!

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I'm 6'3 and have an unusually long torso for my height, so I often have trouble finding camp furniture that fits me. I'm pleased to say that REI has solved my problem. The chair itself has a rather short back, but when I use the pillow as a lumbar support (it won't work as a headrest except for children), everything just falls into line. I really love the way the pillow slides up and down to help you get it in exactly the right place. The chair is too bulky for backpacking, but I've used it over and over at concerts and picnics, and am looking forward to taking it on my next car camping trip. I don't often give out 5-star reviews, but this chair earns the rating easily.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I recently purchased this chair for a 10 day trip into the BWCA in northern MN. Unlike what a lot of people have said, I found the chair easy to carry. It doesn't fold up as nice as many other camp chairs; but if your not doing some serious backpacking this is the chair to get. Portaging this chair one mile is no problem. It is much more comfortable than any of the other camp chairs, and dries very quickly. The pad that you see that looks like a head rest isn't really a head rest unless your 3 ft tall. However, it moves up and down and serves as a nice lumbar support in various positions.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I am 5'7" and 165lbs. This chair is very comfortable. I like how there is a mesh pocket in the back of the chair to put your magazines or any small items.
Wish it came with more colours. It is too bulky to bring backpacking but it is perfect for car camping, beach, concerts, etc. It is a bummer that there is no cup holder.
This chair may not be ideal for those who are heavy-build and/or "old" because it does sit very low to the ground. They may have trouble getting back up.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
I really like this chair, but I had to dock it one star solely because it is so awkward to carry. I have found that there are really only two ways I can carry it with the strap, both over the same shoulder. After a few minutes the plastic clip digs into my shoulder and collar bone. If there were an inch or two of webbing and then it clipped on that would resolve the issue.
Despite that, I do still love the chair. We have a set of these and a set of the REI Camp Chairs. I slightly prefer the camp chairs over these, especially for camping. I prefer the LTG chairs for concerts or the beach. They are extremely comfortable and the lumbar pillow is great on the lower back. It's definitely too low to be used as a head pillow. That's okay, I let my children use these while we're camping and it works well for them.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
Hands down, best folding chair ever created. I own 4. Even have one in my office which, truth be told, I sit in as much if not more than my desk chair.

Comments about REI Comfort LTG Chair:
Fantastic chair. Light and easy. It's not something I would take backpacking - but using it for sitting around camp is perfect. I searched high and low for the perfect camp chair and bought this one after friends' of mine bought a couple. And it was exactly was I was looking for....I love it!
