The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
I recently purchased two of the REI Camp Stowaway Chairs by REI to use mainly for camping but also for use at outdoor events this summer and maybe even the beach. We just used them for the first time camping and the chairs did not disappoint! They are compact and lightweight, very easy to transport and exceedingly comfortable. I was unsure about buying a low chair as my husband is 6ft tall, but he loved it and was very comfortable. Also, it was raining, the chairs got wet and they dried very quickly.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
This is the most comfortable fold out chair I have used, it's a little big/heavy for having to carry anywhere, but perfect for the beach and for car camping. It seems to be great quality. We got 2 to try and will be getting 2 more.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
I love this chair! It's compact and durable and quite comfortable. I'm 6'0 tall and 190 lbs and I fit comfortably in the chair. Quality construction with a nice wide base. I'd say it's perfect for almost any occasion.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
This chair is great if you want something small, lightweight, and relatively comfortable (it is a camp chair after all!). I like that since it's so low, I can kind of recline, stretching my legs out on the ground. Very easy to set up and great for car camping. I'm short of furniture since I just moved, and am even using it in my living room right now! haha.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
This thing is awesome! Very comfortable to sit in. Even better if you have something to put your feet on. A bit difficult to get up out of if you're a bit older and out of shape like me, but it's not too much of a deal breaker, especially for such a compact chair. It's a bit awkward unfolding. Make sure the support bars at the bottom line up with the grooves on the legs for better support. I took this with me on a long distance walking trip from Gardnerville, NV to Seattle, WA. It stored easily in/on my cart that I used to haul my gear. Great for when I needed to take an extended break on the side of the road. I used it everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. I'm a bigger guy, about 250lbs, and it lasted me for most of my trip. It did eventually break, though. No problem though. When I got to Portland I got a ride to the REI store up there and exchanged it with no fuss or hassles.

This was a wedding gift for some friends, I don't know all that much about the chairs but they were thrilled to get them.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
Dear REI,
Thank you for designing and building this chair! I have tried several chairs and none were as comfortable as this! In fact his chair sells itself once you sit in it. We brought it to a concert recently and the couple we went with sat in it for a minute and now they want it to replace their chairs. It's low profile is perfect for concerts as you don't obstruct the view of those around you though it does make it difficult to get up. The mesh design is perfect for those really hot days and nights as it let's the breeze through. It's light and has plenty of extra room in the bag for other items. I recently carried 3 cans of soda and several magazines and newspapers to read while sitting near the lake. Also, it doesn't look like it but it does have arm rests which have foam padding. The plastic feet are great as you can put it on top of blankets and other items without fear of it tearing through the item. This has been one of the best purchases that I have made in quite sometime. Thank you REI!!!!
P.S. If you can please add a cupholder for those that purchase this in the future (that would make it 6 stars)

Good product. We need small and light for motorcycle camping and we found the regular height chairs were not comfortable after a while.
We will see how they hold up.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
According to the description, the seat height is 11 inches from the ground. If REI stated seat height is 3-5 inches I would have nothing to complain about. As you can see from the picture, there is maybe 5 inches of clearance without any weight on the seat. Comfy-yes, good contruction-yes, accurate description-not so much. I will be returing the 4 chairs I received for something a little higher off the ground. Hopefully the other item descriptions are more accurate.

Comments about REI Camp Stowaway Chair:
I have been looking for a low camp chair that closes into this shape rather than folding into a square for ages. Plus it's super comfy & looks cool too. Hooray! The perfect chair!
