Comments about REI Lunch Cooler:
I PURCHASED THIS BAG AS A LUNCH BOX FOR MY SON, I FOUND IT TO BE THE PERFECT SIZE FOR ITS USE. THE QUALITY OF THE BAG IS GREAT, TIGHT STITCHING, EASY GLIDE ZIPPER, CUSHIONED GRIP HANDLE. THE INTERIOR DID NOT HAVE ANY PLASTIC OR CHEMICAL ODOR. OVERALL SO FAR (WE'VE ONLY HAD IT THREE DAYS) THIS PRODUCT IS OUTSTANDING. HOWEVER THE ONE THING I WAS NOT THRILLED WITH WAS THE ADJUSTABLE STRAP. IT IS WAY TO LONG AND NOT SECURED BY A SECOND CLIP TO PREVENT IT FROM DANGLING. I ALSO WOULD HAVE PREFERRED IT TO BE REMOVABLE.

Comments about REI Lunch Cooler:
This is a great every day lunch bag. It's perfect for one person. We want one for each family member. I appreciate it being PVC-free. The external pockets and pouches are really helpful. I like the colors too.

Comments about REI Lunch Cooler:
Straps have not been a problem like the others were saying. They tuck in nicely when not in use.
When I bought this product, I compared it to the other name brand lunch totes. I am glad I went with REI on this product. If you need something bigger REI offers a larger size too.
This product is durable and after a year of daily use shows no signs of wear. Dirt will build up around the bottom of the tote, but can easily be resolved with detergent and a wet rag. I use it for lunch on the weekdays. On the weekends, I am able to fit a 6 pack of cans and keep them cool for a short period of time.

Comments about REI Lunch Cooler:
Carried daily to work and with a small ice pack I don't need to refrigerate my lunch in an office setting. Insulated very well. Long handles not used because I carry it inside another carry bag but it easily tucks inside the side pockets. My only complaint is that it does not have any expandable zipper top to allow for more height capacity. The diameter fits the smaller sized Lean Cuisine type frozen entrees and along with 2 smaller plastic containers. I'm able to stuff it tightly and the zipper hasn't broken yet after using nearly a year. The zipper pocket on front is handy for eating utensils. The rear pocket would hold a slim pack of wet wipes. Overall pleased but would like the expanded zipper capacity.

Comments about REI Lunch Cooler:
I commute by bike 13 miles each day for a Design/Build studio and typically take sizable lunches. This bag has plenty of room to get me through to dinner. The long shoulder strap is adjustable and I wrap it around the bag to tie it to my pannier rack, and it holds extremely secure (I've never had to stop to tighten it!). The bright orange is a good color to improve your street presence at night. This is a great product and would buy it again without hesitation!
