Our super-lightweight titanium Ti Ware™ 1.3-liter pot features a nonstick coating for even cooking, easy clean-up and excellent durability.

  • Lighter than steel and stronger than aluminum, corrosion-resistant, chemically nonreactive titanium conducts heat efficiently
  • Extra-thick silicon ceramic coating is superior, passing tests for heat, corrosion, frying and scratch-resistant hardness
  • Rounded bottom edges offer lots of surface area to the flame and are easy to clean
  • Curved, silicone-covered handles swing out for a burn-free grip; handles pack flat against pot for compact storage
  • Marked with 500ml and 1,000ml gradations on side of pot to assist in measuring
  • Pot rim features a spout for spill-proof pouring; lid features silicon-covered handle to protect hands
  • Includes nylon stuff sack with drawcord and toggle
  • Maintain the integrity of coating and pot by avoiding the use of intense concentrated heat that can cause overheating, especially while pot is empty

When every ounce counts, pack along titanium pots. Titanium sets the standard for lightweight cookware that's durable enough for backcountry use. It weighs half as much as stainless steel. Comes with a lid and heat-resistant silicon-covered handle that folds away for compact packing.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

Great for boiling water. Of course there are better solutions for boiling water, but I like this little pot. My only complaint is that the handles are very unstable and if you are not VERY CAREFUL, you risk giving yourself a lap full of boiling water in the back country. Not any good for "cooking." I am an avid backpacker, not an armchair car-camper. Also the lid is very difficult to put back on the pot while it is hot and on the stove.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

I must say I've been really impressed with this pot. I routinely used it to prepare meals for backpacking, snowshoeing and climbing outings.

Most of the time these are ultra light style trips so we have to make the most out of the gear we bring. Most of the time it is usually just boiling water for meals in a bag but we've prepared all sorts of other dishes in the pot and so far it has yet to scorch or to have clean up issues. The non-stick coating actually works, but it isn't foolproof so you do need to be careful how you clean it (avoid abrasives) and don't heat the pot when empty.

We've used this pot on propane stoves, iso-butane stoves, alcohol stoves (homemade), esbit solid fuel tabs and even carefully set up camp fires. So far, it's been very stable and I've found it very fuel efficent due to the wide base.

Esbit and camp fires have sooted it up occasionally but the titanium cleans up fairly well when exposed to a clean burning hot flame such as propane or butane.

My only concern so far has been the handles. The silicon handles really are wonderful thing as you won't need a seperate pot grip but you must make sure to keep them out of any flames or they will melt under prolonged direct contact.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

This pot has a near-perfect design: Light as a feather, fold-out insulated handles that really work, just the right capacity for 2 people, a tiny pour spout that doesn't spill a drop. It is small enough to fit into nooks and crannies of my pack, big enough to hold a stove, isobutane fuel canister, small pack towel, a couple of packets of hot chocolate.I use it only to boil water, and it seems to heat the water a little faster than my MSR aluminum pots. If you wanted to cook mac & cheese in this pot, it is possible that you might have to watch for scorching due to the thin walls. I think it is too expensive. Wait until [...] it goes on sale. The lid should be more domed in order to provide more interior storage space--I placed it over a roll of duct tape and pounded the end of a softball bat into it with a sledge in order to get the dome shape, and this has worked fine.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

backpacked thru denali several days in early july and this was my only vessel for cooking/boiling. impressed with the light weight and cleaning ease. disappointed with the lid since it warped slightly (i did NOT bend it!) after a couple uses, causing difficulty seating the lid on the pot during cooking/boiling. the grips on the handles keep you from getting burned but they slip easily so i am investing in a pot holder. intially was going to buy the MSR Ti pot but it wasn't big enough for my needs.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

this wasn't the pot for me. i actually really like the pot: its compact, lightweight, and works amazing for boiling water. i have used this pot with an alcohol stove and boiled 2 cups of water in less than 5 mins.

however, it was really difficult to cook in. i made some oatmeal in the pan and it burned extremely bad to the bottom. there was no way i was getting it off in the field so i left it on till i came home. once home i tried to gently remove the burned on food but with no luck. the more aggressive i got the more it appeared to be damaging the nonstick surface.

overall i am actually happy with the pot it just wasn't for me.

my bottom line is this: if you mostly boil water, this is the pot for you and i would rate it 5 stars. if you enjoy backcountry cooking, i would pick another pot. it would earn 2 stars for cooking.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

I like that the msr xgk fits inside. That way I can navigate the world eating korean noodles cooked with unleaded gasoline. Other than that, it's great for boiling water and occasionally eating out of with chopsticks. If your melting snow becareful that you don't scorch the pot.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

Both the msr whisperlite and xgk pack inside, so the simmerlite too must fit. I'm so happy that the xgk fits inside. That's my stove of choice. I only boil water so cleaning is not a problem. Becareful if you intend to melt snow cause many rocket type stoves will overheat and scorch the nonstick coasting.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 1.3 Liter:

I agree with all the wonderful things written about this pot
(although I have the non-stick version, and have major gear
                lust for the non-stick).

                Service and delivery comments:

After 10 years of use, the silicon coating on the handles has melted
away, from the heat of the stove. I'm curious if anyone else has had
this problem, and found a good way to restore the coating ?
