Comments about REI E-Wrap Computer Sleeve - Small:
Fits my 13" Macbook very well. The zipper pocket isn't the largest but it holds the power brick, remote, iPod and cords that go with it. Offers pretty good protection on the go, I just stow it in my messenger bag and take off.

Comments about REI E-Wrap Computer Sleeve - Small:
I am very picky about my computer bags and had been buying custom-made bags for my laptops for a while. The only problem with the custom-made slipcase is that you have to pick an orientation (vertical or horizontal) and I switch between a briefcase and a backpack (requiring two bags). While the REI bag is slightly bulkier than the Waterfield, but you get both orientations in one bag, and it fits nearly as well. I wish the REI bag were 1/8" bigger in each dimension, then it would truly fit like a glove. Also, the REI bag was a lot cheaper than the one I usually get!

Comments about REI E-Wrap Computer Sleeve - Small:
Advertised sizes are for wide aspect screens. I bought two, a small and a ex-small for 14" ThinkPad T41 and 12" X30 respectively. The X30 fits the small case; T41 would need a medium.

Comments about REI E-Wrap Computer Sleeve - Small:
I've got three individual sleeves, this REI and 2 from Incase for my MacBook. I got the REI because I needed a stand-alone bag for my laptop, power cord, etc, and my incase sleeve only held the laptop. With my iBook, I could fit both the laptop and an incase sleeve in the REI. I didn't like having the laptop in just the REI because it uses velcro instead of a zipper. The REI doesn't fit the laptop in the incase sleeve, so I don't use it. When I'm brining my daypack, the laptop lives in an incase sleeve which lives in my daypack; power cord and textbooks live in other pockets of the other areas of my daypack. For when I am not at school, I have an Incase Plus which is a bit more expensive, but has much more room in the pockets and zips close. I feel like it's a lot safer, and I really like that case. I recommend getting something that stays closed better than this if you want stand-alone and something that is more protective than this inside another bag, which is why I swear by Incase products for mac.
On the PC side, I also like Built NY.

Comments about REI E-Wrap Computer Sleeve - Small:
I got this sleeve at the REI store and it has been the Best laptop bag I have ever owned. It fits my 13" MacBook perfectly and has lots of padding. It is also great because when it is in your backpack, you do not have to pull the whole case out to get your computer because of the conveniently located openings. I put my computer in my bag with all my books and it does a great job at protecting it. The designers were really thinking of the user when they thought this bag up!
