Comments about REI MultiTowel Lite - X Large:
Bought 2 x-large towels on a whim, because they were on sale and seemed like something practical to have. Took them with me to Europe, and used them even as we stayed at hotels, where sometimes the towels were too small. They pack easily, dry quickly and are very absorbent. They are also very soft and gentle on the skin. My husband is 6'3", and the x-large towel worked great for him. Definitely something practical for traveling, camping, working-out or anytime you'd just rather have your own towel.

This is a fantastic towel. I bought it because it struck me what an impact gym towels must be taking on our planet. Each gym member, using 2-3 towels only once before they go in the laundry... All that water, all that bleach and detergent... So this was to be my little part. The towel has exceeded my expectations and is a joy to use. It is really soft, packs small and light and washes well. It holds such a tremendous amount of water that any dampness in the towel is hardly noticeable after a shower, it can be packed in the carry bag without getting stinky, and dries quickly when you hang it. The microfiber is also more gentle on your hair and skin! If you need one more reason, it is also quite attractive to wear; the thinner fabric is much more flattering than terry cloth. :) I have both the XL size - big enough to fully wrap an average body and the Medium size - about the size of a standard hand towel. Gym, camping, home, travel... ask the hotel to remove their towels from your room, you won't need anything else, and you'll be that much closer to Living Green!

This towel saved us camping in rainstorm in a leaky tent. Each swipe of the towel took about a gallon of water off the floor of our tent, which then wrung almost completely out. There's no way we could have bailed water as quickly or thoroughly without this towel.
Plus, I've used it for a while as a nice traveling towel. It's soft, dries fast, and is a nice size.

I agree with all the positive reviews and would like to add another use. I typically wash clothes in the sink at night when traveling, and the size of the multitowel allows me to roll up the wet laundry and squeeze out as much water as possible. The multitowel is practically always dry the next morning (as well as the laundry). Great combination!

Though we packed incredibly lightly for a trip to the Big Island, we were able to bring one of the comforts of home--a super soft, warm, full-size towel. This towel was simply perfect! It absorbed and dried so well it felt dry after shower use. Excess water can be wrung out easily, which came in handy to dry off clothes after swimming hole use.

This towell is great. I have used it as a picnic blanket, folded as a seat, as a beach towell, a ground cloth, and a regular towell after a shower when camping. It folds up small, dries quickly, and is very soft. I also have the next size down from this one, but I like the XL the best, even for backpacking when space is an issue.

I bought two of these towels to replace the ones the Army gave me. I thought that all microfiber towels were the same. No they are not. These are larger then the ones issued and are better made. The only draw back is the color. I have taken them on all my backpacking trips and overseas too. They are a great investment.

This towel is the answer to all of my traveling prayers! It's so small you can throw it into any bag and not even notice it's there. It's really absorbent too, dries quickly and feels great on the skin. When traveling you could use this as your beach towel, shower towel, hand towel everything! I may even be switching out my old "bathroom towels" and replacing them with this one. Imagine the storage space I will gain :)
Great buy for any travelers, campers, or really for any person who doesn't have a lot of extra space.
