Comments about Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
All watches should have stopwatch features, especially one that costs [$]. An RS200 without the footpod is cheaper and has more useable features; and sleeker as well.

Comments about Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
If you don't like sending your excercise tools in for servicing such as battery changes DON'T BUY POLAR. You can't perform battery changes on this unit and if you do it will void the warranty. So, if not having a monitor for three weeks is something you can't afford, DON'T BUY POLAR! On to operation, the F11 from the start was not reliable. Just to get it to read my heart rate I had to soak it under running water until the transmitter was pretty much saturated - not pleasant on cold morning runs. Also, in the middle of a workout the receiver would suddenly stop working or read that I had a heart beat of 50% when I was in the middle of a sprint. There are many new units from different companies coming out of which I've tried and they hands down work much more reliably than this unit. I read many questionable reviews regarding reliability of this unit - should've listened.

Comments about Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I really love this heart rate monitor. The trainer feature is great. I always smile on Mondays when I get the "cup" for meeting my weekly goal. It's very accurate and I have had no trouble with it for the year that I've owned it. I replaced the battery in the chest strap, but that's all.

Comments about Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I bought this to get myself outside and to get fit. A 15 min read of the manual got me started. I love the fitness program which assesses your current fitness (based on HR variability and resting pulse) and then recommends how you should use your workout time to meet your goals. I compared the price to a personal trainer -- well worth it.

Comments about Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I love the polar F11. It has been a great motivator to keep track of how long, how hard and how many calories I burn throughout the week. I love all the features so far. I like that you can turn the HRzone alarm off.
The only downside is that I really think the calorie count is high at times. It seems to be accurate on lower intensity activities like pilates, but when I teach cycle it claims that I am burning in the 700-855 calorie range. You can set the user settings to your fitness level, but it still seems high to me.
That said, I would definitely recommend it.
