Finally...a shoe that works for me!
Yes , I recommend this product
I set out to walk the Breast Cancer 3-Day (60 miles in 3 days) this year. This involves a LOT of training walks. After trying four other pairs of shoes in as many months, I was ready for a pair that wasn't too narrow, helped correct my pronating, and had enough shock absorption. A very helpful gal in REI's shoe department recommended the Asics Gel-Kayanos, fitting me in a 10 D. Perfect. I have logged many miles in them already, and have no complaints. No new blisters or hot spots, there is plenty of room for my toes (even after they swell), my feet don't ache from pronating after walks, and my heels don't hurt from lack of shock absorption. I just bought my second pair this week. Happy feet are worth every cent.

Don't buy these shoes
No, I do not recommend this product
Within two weeks these shoes fell apart. The metallic part cracked, the thread holding the shoe parts together at the top fell out. The netting and gel part gets a little dirty and immediately looks old and worn. I hadn't even taken them running or hiking or anything. After three weeks a friend said, oh time for new shoes huh? Don't buy these shoes, poor quality.

Asics are the best running shoes, ever. I've been running over 8 years and I've tried everything under the sun. Kayanos especially are my favorites. Not sure why they received such a poor review but I completely disagree. They are durable, lightweight and simply perfect.

I have put thousands of miles on my first pair, including training for and running half marathons, in all sorts of weather. These are the best shoes I have ever purchased, and just replaced(with the same model) them due to mileage, they are still very much intact.

Would highly recommend these shoes, especially for motion control. Very comfortable & durable. I'm definitely going to need to get another pair soon of the same model due to mileage on this pair.
