I used this bag and other Sea to Summit lightweight dry sacks on an extended solo paddling trip. I bought them to replace my heavier urethane bags. These dry sacks are very waterproof, until they puncture. All four of my bags had holes in them by the end of an 11 day trip. If you drop these on rocks, or toss them on shore while unloading your canoe, they will get holes. They are too fragile for me and I am going back to my Sealine bags. If you can keep these in your canoe bag and only take them out to get gear, you will be fine.

I purchased this product as a way to pack my clothes on top of the seat of my motorcycle. I liked how easy it was to stuff everything into the bag and the roll-down style closure kept everything airtight. I was a little skeptical about the waterproof capabilities of the bag until I reached a three hour downpour in New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. When I pulled my clothes out at my final destination, everything was bone dry.

This XL size bag is perfect for a week's worth of clothes for a motorcyclist. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a waterproof stuff bag that's easy to strap down and carry around. As for color selection, that was the last thing on my mind. But, I did enjoy the fluorescent green. :)

I have to agree here-- it's not about color. This is a great product that strikes a perfect balance between light weight and functionality. Admittedly I bought mine in the store and picked a color I liked. But this product is incredibly well made and finds the right balance between weight minimization and durability. It's probably too light for extremely abusive or commercial use, but is perfect for the weekend backpacker who isn't going to be deliberately testing the limits of the design. The 20L size is nice and only half an ounce heavier than the 13L size.

It might work great as a pillow or cushion as well. I filled mine with air and sat on it for half an hour with only minimal deflation... I think you could go several hours without grounding out.

This is a great product. Need to keep something dry? Then this product is all you need - end of story. I've used a few of these dry sacks, they are great for use as a stuff sack for your sleeping bag and to hang your food in at night. I don't paddle often, but I wouldn't be afraid to use it on a trip to keep clothes or electronics nice and dry.Giving this product 2 stars due to the color of it is ridiculous. You base your review on the QUALITY not the color of the product. And no, it isn't "puke orange" - the color looks exactly how it appears on the website.
