Comments about Marmot Lithium Sleeping Bag:
The lithium is the best sleeping bag i have ever had it packs nice and it is like floating on a cloud to sleep in. The one time i had issues was the bottom getting wet making from excessive condensation in my tent during a snow storm that i had to dig my tent out of (my feet got cold). though even with my 65 pound dog clawing around at the bottom on those cold nights i did not get any tears or snags

Comments about Marmot Lithium Sleeping Bag:
I use this product for backcountry ski trips. It's awesome! I have slept outdoors on snow, no shelter in it at -15C and been totally comfortable (paired with my Exped Downmat). I feel like it warms up almost instantly once you get in it. It packs super small and is quite warm. If I'm going to a hut, I usually sleep outside anyways to prevent overheating. I feel like most people don't understand that it's warmest in a down bag if you sleep NAKED. Not socks, not light long johns etc, fully naked. Don't believe me? Try it.
Seeing as I'm using it for snow/winter, I don't tend to see a lot of rain/moisture so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the waterproof coating.
The only downside is that it's pretty pricey, but Marmot is one of the best manufacturers in my opinion. My dad has a down bag from 30 years ago that is still awesome, so I decided to splurge and get a good one and hope it will last me as long.
I'm very happy with my bag (had it for 1.5 years now) and would definitely recommend it.

Comments about Marmot Lithium Sleeping Bag:
The Lithium by Marmot is a visually magnificent sleeping bag, but I, who am not a particularly cold sleeper, was uncomfortable at 35F even with the hood on the second consecutive day of use without airing the bag. Over the course of a 15 day wilderness canoe trip shortly after ice-out, the bag was never really comfortable whenever the temperature dropped to near freezing except for those nights after a thorough airing out in the sun, and that is not typically possible on extended wilderness trips. The compressibility and light weight make it ideal for backpacking for short duration trips, but do not count on this bag for longer stays in the wilderness.

Comments about Marmot Lithium Sleeping Bag:
I have owned many bags and have been camping/backpacking for almost 40 years. I purchased the long which weighs 2 lbs. 15 ozs. Really! I have used this bag on numerous trips and at almost 53 (6', 225 lbs.) I have found this bag incites nothing but superlatives to describe its capabilities--all positive. Is it expensive--yes. Is it worth the money--Hell Yes! Every penny of it. I am also exclusively on the Appalachian Trail here in the Northeast. Conditions can vary from cold to OMG it's not fit for beast nor human. This bag is my "go to" cold weather bag. Marmot continues to excell in their use of quality materials, superior workmanship and knowing what the backpacker needs/wants. It is the synthesis between cutting edge technology and fabrication techniques that make it perform beyond your expectations. Marmot for life? You betcha!

Comments about Marmot Lithium Sleeping Bag:
I am small (5'6" and 150#) so I like light gear. This is quality and light. I stayed toasty warm with only shorts, light shirt and socks on in 5-10 degrees on Mt. Shasta. I actually unzipped a little at night. I packs small. But I used a dry sack stuff sack. The one with it is very thin and could rip--also I like a dry sack for a down bag. Yes, I would buy again-and I even paid full price for this one!
