K2 T:Nine Breeze offers Dream Ride Design, letting female riders kick back and enjoy leisurely rides.

  • Breeze was developed by the T:Nine Women's Alliance Team, a group of five women dedicated to identifying issues key to female riders
  • Dream Ride frame positions rider low and aft for comfort and stability; typically, riders can place both feet on ground while sitting on saddle
  • Step-through geometry accommodates easy mounts, dismounts and stopping
  • Features a graceful, swept-back handlebar for confident steering control; also keeps the shifters and brake levers within easy reach
  • Suspension front fork and seat post soften bumps in the road
  • Grip shifters are intuitively easy to operate; grips are sized for a woman's small hands
  • Provides 21 speeds geared for comfortable climbs, controlled descents and pleasant speed across the flats
  • Tektro hand brakes provide controlled deceleration; ergonomic, women-specific brake levers fit small hands
  • 26 in. wheels and tires are inherently stable at slow speeds and through tight turns
  • Features a saddle structured for a woman's sit bones and padded for comfort
  • No special shoes required—platform pedals accommodate a variety of casual shoes


After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.       Wow! Where do I start!? This bike is superb! I test rode a few bikes and NOTHING compared to this one, not even the more expensive bikes.

      This bike is very comfortable and gives an unbelievably smooth ride. The women's seat and the parallelogram suspension can get credit for that. Now you don't have to worry about those painfully huge bumps on sidewalks or streets because this bike will absorb all the shock. Your bum will thank you for buying this bike! lol

      The handle bars consist of two bars and the top one has absolutely nothing on it, leaving it free for you to put a safety light in the center, a bike computer, or even a bag.

      The Shimano FD-C050 front derailleur and SRAM 3.0 rear derailleur provide smooth and effortless shifting during your ride.

      I HIGHLY recommend giving this bike a test ride. My parents both own a TREK and this K2 bike is cheaper, better components for the price, shifts better, and rides better!

      I cannot stress how awesome this bike is. I've ridden it every single day, in the warm or cold, because it makes riding so much more enjoyable because of its comfort.

      This is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned, and it's cute to boot! Takes the pressure off of those achy areas, and got me playing outside again. Super comfy seat, with bounce to relieve low back, and more upright handle bars to relieve neck pressure. The handle bars are a little wider set than I like, (vs the Novara Mia or Flirt), but I preferred the seat and the ride of the K2 Breeze. It offers me the most enjoyment overall. Buying another for my daughter!
