Comments about STABILicers Traction Devices - Unisex:
I've been using STABILicers for more than 10 years, ever since I saw a Minnesota postal mail carrier scampering from house to house during the worst ice storm since 1993. "How do you manage without breaking bones?" I asked her. She showed me her STABILicers, firmly attached to her shoes, and explained that STABILicers work better than anything else! I love mine, and have used them in Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, and points in between. An exceptionally welcome feature is that I can replace worn cleats with common sheet-metal screws available in any hardware store, and the task is ridiculously simple! I walk two energetic dogs (100 pounds and 80 pounds each), and need ultimate traction when blasting around with my canine Boyz at warp speed. I don't have to worry about the occasional slick spot that recently cost my 86-year-old neighbor a broken hip. I'm almost 62 years old and used to run cross country during my active-duty military days. Now I keep a pair of STABILicers at home, a pair in my car, and another pair in my RV. I wouldn't even consider using anything else for walking or running traction.

Comments about STABILicers Traction Devices - Unisex:
These STABILicers are far superior to the yak trax if you really want traction under all conditions. Definitely worth the extra cost. I walk to the Post Office every morning and already there is snow & ice on the roads and sidewalks that will be here until spring. Slipping never occurs to me as this product grips so well.

These are great when needing to walk on a day with ice on pavements and streets. They have great traction and I am able walk over ice at the same speed as on a dry day. I will definitely continue to have a pair of these on hand every winter!!

After seeing many people use these, we used these for the first time today and were very impressed with their performance. Hiked a 6 mile mountainous trail covered in slick ice and snow. Never slipped, even on the quite steep descents. The stabilicers were easy to put on and comfortable to wear. In fact, we really didn't notice them at all.

Comments about STABILicers Traction Devices - Unisex:
STABILicers are the best winter traction devices I have used. They're durable, properly fitting, and provide impressive traction. Also, they're a viable alternative to crampons for non-technical winter hiking.
My advice, avoid Yaktrax (mine fell apart) and buy the bombproof STABILicers.

I use Stabilicers to walk the dog and jog when the ground is covered with ice and hard packed snow.Awesome traction.Very secure. Care must be taken when traversing uneven terrain as the platform raises you up and increases leverage on your ankles. I purchased a pair of Stabilicers for my wife at REI [...]and I purchased another brand because my size was out of stock. I ended up using my wifes Stabilicers because the others were terrible. [...]

The STABILicers Traction Devices - Unisex by STABILicers are the best on the market bar none. I have used every kind of winter traction device on the market and these beat all of them. Great for use on hard pack snow, ice, frozen mud... you name it. Other products simply don't compare.

After experiencing a bad fall on the ice, this product provides the ultimate in stability. Strap these on and walk with confidence on compact snow and ice. I especially like the replaceable studs --- a very nice touch. For you local Seattle-ites, I was able to walk up the steepest part of Denny on snow and ice with no problems.

I work as a Park Ranger in one of our mountain Parks. While I’m use to wearing crampons for mountaineering, I needed something around the office and campsite. A co-worker showed them to me and I figured what the heck, I’ll buy a set for every member of the staff. Great choice. Got to finally use them this last week and boy were we all glad to have them. No slipping occurred on the ice, and that is what we got them for. Quickly got use to driving with them on. I’d highly recommend them to all.

Comments about STABILicers Traction Devices - Unisex:
Use them every time I go out in the snow and ice, I have used the one the trials while geocaching and while just walking from the car to home nothing works better and makes me feel more stable. The spikes add a huge amount of traction even on inclines and declines. I will never use anything other then these.
