These SmartWool socks are great for my indoor life in the city! They're cute, and go great with mary jane shoes. These are NOT hiking socks, they're meant for wearing with street shoes, not boots. I can't wear regular wool because of my sensitive skin, but SmartWool doesn't bother me at all. I can wash with the rest of my laundry, and it wears wonderfully. I've been wearing and washing them a couple of times a week for three months now, and they still look and feel great!
