I have had the same problem as gunmetal gray with the adjustment straps, but it was a relatively easy fix... i just put a some duct tape over the straps attaching them to the helmet, and now it works fine. This is a great helmet, and i recommend it to anyone

I bought this helmet back in early 2007, and used it for maybe 10 outings on the hill, both snowboarding and skiing. Fit and feel is great, as was the sleek appearance. However one big gripe I had was that the straps that connect the rear adjuster to the helmet on the sides are attached by small knobs that depress into 2 small clip holes. These clip holes wear somewhat quickly, and thus the knobs become loose and detach themselves from the helmet. This ultimately renders the adjustment strap useless as there is nothing for it to grip on to.[...]
