The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I have found this product to be really handy, I use it for bathing, dishes and managing ice between coolers or for repacking coolers. It is well made, stable, carries easily, and is fairly compact, although not compact enough for backpacking

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I loved this sink, but the one thing I will say is that the size turned out to too big for my needs.
I was cooking for only 2 people and we went pretty minimalist since we were flying out to the area where we were camping. The 10L sink was definitely overkill. Be aware that the sink doesn't really stand up unless you put enough water in it.
I will definitely use this again if I go car camping with a larger group, but for 2 ppl using minimal gear, I wish I'd bought the smaller one.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
This sink completely collapsed every time I've tried to use it so that the water completely spills out, making it worthless. The Sea to Summit Orange Bucket is slightly more reliable in staying upright, but not by much.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I really liked the idea of this product, but after returning my first one for leaking at the seams, the second one arrived and still leaked right out of the box. The thing is 99.9% water proof, but there were a few tiny pin hole leaks at the bottom. Why not just make the product awesome instead of 99.9% awesome. I am going to return it again and either ask for my money back or an alternative brand. I love to love my stuff, but only when it works as advertised. Glad to shop at REI though[...]

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I tend to teeter totter between being as minimalist as possible while still maintaining a few luxuries in my hiking and backpacking experiences. Enter the Sea to Summit Kitchen sink it is an ideal choice for anyone that likes their gear to multi task.
The first use for this sink is obvious; washing dishes! anyone that likes to use entire cooksets on backpacking or camping trips will definitely enjoy the easy set up of this sink. Now if you get a little grossed out at the prospect of using this sink for multiple things after you just washed dishes in it then maybe you'll need another one, though for me its just a matter of rinsing it out and throwing hand washing it (which should probably be done after you wash anything in it.
If your like me and live in the desert then you'll be using this to collect water and purify water and if this is so then I must say it's better than carrying around a collapsable bucket. I'm not saying the bucket doesn't serve its purpose and because I don't own one I can't really criticize it but the sink seems to be more practical. It is completely free standing once filled and the handles are definitely strong and I experience no water leaks.
After you get hydrated and fed and your cook set is clean and packed away, maybe you'll decide its time to wash some of your clothes (I tend to do this a lot it saves a significant amount of weight when all you carry is one extra set of clothes maybe two.) just fill her back up and wash away, then hang dry it usually takes my clothes no more than and hour on a cloudy day to dry during the summer.
Now you have clean clothes but what about you? I use this just as I would my bathroom sink at home, I brush my teeth, face, get some armpit action going and I'm all set, no need to get back from a long backpacking trip and having everyone smell it on you.
My sink is a trooper and I don't foresee any quality issues rising from it, though I've only used it a few times so I can't put it down as a "pro". also It may not take too long to dry especially if you give it a good shake down but it might not be as fast drying as some people might want it to be. If you have a tough time putting this back in it's case, just look at the instructions that are printed on the case, I had no problems after this. Overall and amazing piece of practical and lightweight equipment, I will be taking this on every single outing, no matter what.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
For those who count every gram, be aware that the weight is about 50% more than stated in the product description.
It's claimed that this weighs 4.4oz (124.7g). Including the case, however it actually weighs 6.39oz (181g). Even without the case--and who would use this without the case?--it weighs 5.28oz (148g). Measured myself on a calibrated scale.
An ounce or two is not a big deal for most, but I for one am sick of manufacturers lying outright in their product specs. REI really should be holding these guys accountable.
Weight aside, this is a pretty good product. It's easy to fold up and fit back into the case, just look at the instructions once and you'll never forget. Reasonably stable, though occasionally you'll need to hold a side up as you work to prevent water from spilling out. Looks pretty well-made and durable, too, though I've only given it a single test run at home.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I've read that some people have a difficult time getting the sink back in its case. The best advice I can give for that is to start at the top, coiling the rim around itself. Depending on the size of the bag you have, you may need to do this three times. I have to do it 3 times for the 20 Litres bag. While I'm doing this, I tuck the handles into the folds that are being created. Once you've got the rim coiled up nicely, just stuff the bottom of the bag up into the coils. It fits right back into the case that way. The trick here is to not underestimate how flexible the rim is. It seems like a lot of typing, but really, this only takes about ten seconds to do, if that. Hope this helps. Maybe I'll put in some pictures....Actually, I just made a video instead. Watch that, it explains the process a lot better, even without words. ;) Technically, the video is :30, but I am going slowly so you can see what I'm doing. Hope this helps!

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
This product is really good. I know that I only gave it 4 stars, but I feel like 5 should be for something exceptional. My only issue is that it doesn't seem to hold form well, resulting in the spilling of water. Not a big deal if you are car camping, but for hiking in this might be a concern. In addition you could always use the bag your cookset came in to wash whatever you need. But considering what the product was designed for, it is great. I would suggest buying and using one of these if you are anything other than a minimalist. Oh yeah, and packing it is a breeze as well.

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
Just used this on a 3 day backpacking trip. Go to stream, fill to the brim, carry back to camp. Filter water! No gymnastics at stream side ( one guy fell in), no wading into the water to filter, no strained knees after several bottles.
Makes it easy. Others may look at you funny at first, then they see how easy life is for you !

Comments about Sea to Summit Kitchen Sink:
I took this on a three day trip to a location where there was a 150 ft steep drop down to the river. I was some how able to get most of the water back up to camp in this lil guy. I filtered the water I needed for cooking and drinking and washed dishes. I didn't have any leaking issues. My only complaint (and this is to be expected with this kind of product) is that when the water level is low in the sink it's more likely to tip.
Great product!
