Created to keep kids' feet warm and dry, these waterproof boots will allow them to stomp and tromp without the worry of cold, wet feet.

  • Waterproof pig suede uppers are seam sealed with double-adhesive latex to keep little feet dry; gusseted tongues keep snow and debris out
  • Insulated with 200 grams of Heatshield Optimal Technology™ polyester for nonbulky and lightweight warmth, even when damp
  • Injection-molded steel shank plates ensure stability on uneven terrain; thermoplastic rubber shell bottoms protect feet
  • Dual-density EVA midsoles combine with X-2™ inserts to absorb shock in the primary impact areas of the feet and provide energy return
  • AgION™ natural silver ion treatment helps control odor
  • TNF Winter Grip™ rubber outsoles supply tenacious traction in wet and slick conditions; omni-directional lugs are self-cleaning and grippy

    My wife and I bought these for our son for his/our first Illinois winter season. The North Face brand offers exceptional quality so we felt these would hit the mark. So far we are convinced they have. We did go a full size bigger, mainly to accommodate a wool sock for the colder days, but so he won't outgrow them during the current winter season. Our son has worn these almost everyday for the past week and hasn't complained about them once. That's what every parent really wants. The weather has been as low as 20 degrees and we've had some rain and his piggies have been delighted by not knowing how cold it was. So far from what we can tell these will definitely last until his feet outgrow them, which is unfortunate but we'll help keep North Face and REI in business by buying another pair for him when needed.
