Comments about PacSafe Carrysafe 100 Secure Camera Strap:
Great to change out your original OEM camera strap of your SLR with the PacSafe camera strap. Instead of having your camera strap advertising what you're wielding--CANON(!!), NIKON(!!), etc--this one keeps you lower profile. I like the peace of mind that a person cannot come by and slash my strap with the built-in wires. In addition, the longer straps allow to sling over the neck and shoulder like a messenger bag and swing it out easily when necessary. No longer do I need to keep the camera strap around my neck (read: tourist) or wrap it around my wrist for safety.
Things I would improve: the straps that connect to the camera need to be sturdier and more non-slip. After a few days of heavy use, the strap came out. Luckily we were sitting at a restaurant when I noticed. I'll have to finagle it to stay put now. It's a necessary improvement since many users will have multi-thousand $$ cameras on there.

Comments about PacSafe Carrysafe 100 Secure Camera Strap:
I bought this strap to use on my Nikon D-80 as a safety precaution when traveling. Based upon the high quality and performance of several other PacSafe products, I expected the same from the camera strap. Not to be! Soon after purchase the strap slipped off the camera. Somehow I caught my camera, but had to use a safety pin to keep the strap attached. Eventually, after the same thing happened to the other side, I returned the strap. What good is a safety strap if your camera is dropped and broken? Fix this problem and it would be a decent strap.

Comments about PacSafe Carrysafe 100 Secure Camera Strap:
I toured all over Italy with confidence as my camera dangled at my side. BUT...I was confident because I didn't use the extenders. The extenders present 3 problems. 1-NOT slashproof. 2- Plastic connectors can fail. 3- Stitching of strap on the extender can, and has failed in some instances, allowing spendy camera to fall to ground. Not nice. Take off the extenders, use the steel rings to connect snaps to camera, cover the snaps with included soft material sleeves, and wear with confidence. I'm thinking of buying another to double the length of mine to allow DSLR carry at hip level. This strap isn't long enough to do this by itself, so be aware of that as well.

Comments about PacSafe Carrysafe 100 Secure Camera Strap:
my perpetual quest for an everyday camera strap led me to this to try. it worked well enough but the stiffness of the wires makes for an awkward carry if your not using the strap. also, the plastic guides on the ends keep the strap from adjusting well then if you break them off the ends don't lay flat. well, it might be good if you are visiting a crime ridden area and the wires keep slash and grabbers at bay, but i don't.
one positive point, the non slip pad is truly non slip and works very well.
my quest continues...

Comments about PacSafe Carrysafe 100 Secure Camera Strap:
If you have an expensive Digital SLR or other expensive camera or video equipment, you need to protect your investment with Pac Safe's camera strap. Besides protection from theft it is comfortable and does not advertise your camera model as stock straps do. I have replaced all my stock straps with PacSafe straps!
