Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
I used the firecracker while backpacking this summer. When night fell and I turned on the firecracker I was amazed by the bright focused beam of light. Even though the beam is not adjustable the firecracker puts out so much light it's like turning on the lights in a room. My campsite went from pitch black to well lit with a twist of the base, which is easy to use once you get used to it. Lightweight, bright, affordable.

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
Very bright small light with clean good looks and nice finish too. Fits easily in pocket.
I really like the fact that you can either twist the base for constant on or just push in on the base for momentary on (For this feature to work you have to have the base twisted just short of the constant on position).

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
Use the light on camping trips, around the house,in the car; size/weight is great to put in small spaces; backpacks, camera bags,briefcases,purses,etc... Light is very bright, beam is more focused than flood, battery light is excellent...Cons: the light color takes a little getting used to, the on/off mechanism is to turn the body but there is no stop feature, which is good when in a hurry or it is picth dark, but it is somewhat easy to get turned on by accident. Overall, I think it is an excellent light and perfect for folks who want little/lite/long battery life and durable

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
I was stunned when I opened the box to find a flashlight roughly the size or a roll of pennies! The Firecracker weighs about as much as the battery you put in it and puts out as much light as a standard maglight. I wasn't thrilled with having to screw the top to turn it on, but the instant-on button was extremely convenient. The only drawback is it's permanent spot focus.
I just tested it out on a week long backpacking / canoe trip in the mountains. It was used heavily, dropped on rocks, in mud and ash and still doesn't even show a mark!

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
I bought this light because it happened to be on sale, and it has since turned out to be one of the handiest little lights ever. It's really bright for its size, and also very durable as it has survived several accidental drops onto concrete. The beam is not adjustable, but it is well focused, so I don't consider the lack of an adjustable beam a disadvantage.

Durable, compact and light. Button on/off would be better than twisting the base.

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
terrible...this thing died on me a few weeks after i got it. it's very small and doesn't give off much light. i'd rather the batter life be shorter if it could be brighter. not worth the[$]dollars for a pocket flashlight. i recommend the gerber infinity ultra if you want small floodlight. not worth sending it to get fixed since it's only [$]but it still wasn't worth my [$]
Service and delivery comments:
delivery was great...quick and straight to my door along with all the other things i ordered at the time.

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
I was a little skeptical when I first picked up the flashlight. My main reason for buying this particular flashlight is that it runs on only 1 AA battery. I needed something small and something that wouldn't eat up a ton of batteries. When I opened it up and shined it in my face, I was amazed. This is an awesome flashlight that is small enough to put in your pocket, but packs a flash that is just amazing for a single AA battery.
I have seen some comments that you can't adjust the beam. It's true, but you don't really need it. This flashlight is so bright that even with the single beam, the surroundings are illuminated enough to see. And the push-top operation is a cool feature.

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
I bought this light to have on hand as a low space back up for caving. I couldn't be more impressed. It is very bright and has great beam distance. Its easy to pack and light enough not to cause grief. The push button on/off is excellent for a quick spot when the headlamp just isn't enough. The beam doesn't adjust but that is why it makes a great backup. Any light that is good enough to spotlight climbing holds at 2am is good enough for me to buy again!

Comments about Gerber Firecracker LED Flashlight:
The most impressive thing about this flashlight is the battery life. I use this flashlight every day at work, and I charge the rechargeable battery about once a month (or less). Most of the other reviews list the non-adjustable beam as a con, but you don't need it. Just another moving part to wear out. The beam is bright and concentrated. It's all you need around the camp site and for those middle of the night pit stops. A push button on/off would be nice, since the light will come on just by lightly pushing on the end when in your pocket.
