Petzl® Luna women's harness delivers a feminine fit for superb comfort on long alpine routes with its shaped Frame Construction technology.

  • Amateur to expert climbers who enjoy mountaineering, glacier travel and long alpine rock and ice routes will enjoy the nimble comfort of Luna
  • Engineered to fit women right with a women-specific waistbelt, proportioned leg loops and proportioned rise between waistbelt and leg loops
  • Frame Construction design uses webbing tape along waistbelt and leg loops for strength and support, while area between tape distributes weight evenly
  • Design allows for increased ventilation and comfort on warmer days; polyester webbing tape won't absorb moisture and is highly abrasion resistant
  • Polyethylene/EVA foam padded waistbelt and leg loops are extra resilient for lasting comfort
  • Perforations in foam along with woven polyester 3D air mesh lining aid in ventilation and fast drying, while reducing weight and chafing
  • DoubleBack buckle system provides an extra margin of safety by allowing adjustments while maintaining the correct double-back configuration
  • Offset waist buckle keeps the belay area clear of obstructions; one-handed buckle adjustments assist in getting the harness on and off easily
  • Safety-colored green belay loop with tie-in illustration and reinforced tie-in points help reduce tie-in errors and increase strength
  • High-strength mono-filament nylon mesh on exterior harness faces aids in load distribution and provides excellent abrasion resistance

      I have had trouble finding harnesses in the past because I have a smaller waist, yet larger thighs. This harness fits great. It is a little longer (top to bottom) than the mens version, and the leg loops have a larger range of size. Finally, a nice lightweight harness made to fit a woman's body!

        This is my first harness, and after hanging on a few different models, this one was my favorite. It's extremely comfortable, and I feel very safe in it. It's also relatively simple to put on, and fit's very well. It doesn't cut into my legs like some other harnesses I've tried. One of the other things I like is that the padding has some ventilation holes in it so that you don't get too hot and sweaty where the harness lies.

        I tried so hard to like this harness, especially since it has the most comfortable waist belt I've ever worn; but I just couldn't get over the leg loops. The bands just aren't wide enough! They either need to be a little bit wider to distribute the weight better, or offer just a tad more padding. I'm an average size and in good shape, so it wasn't just an issue of the harness being too small--no matter how I adjusted it, for some reason they still dug into the backs of my legs and cut off circulation while hanging. The harness was a perfect fit otherwise, and I would highly recommend this harness if it doesn't kill your legs.

        This harness is the most comfortable one out there for women. It is very well padded, but at the same time well vented for climbing in the outdoor summer heat. One big flaw of this harness is its gear loops. they are not flared out like most others, they are angled straight down from the waist belt. This is a poor design for a women's harness since any gear you put on the loops are difficult to reach (the loops sit high above the hips), and the gear sits up against your hips making it a struggle to get the gear off when on a difficult route (since the gear loops do not flare out from the harness). These gear loops are not very functional for sport or trad climbing due to the small size and difficulty get gear on and off the loops quickly. the padding is good enough for long all day routes...but without functional loops to put gear on, you probably wont be seeing much long routes in this harness unledd you buy a gear sling.
