Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
This is a great rope at a great price. I picked one up in the spring and have been using it all summer for top roped climbs and now lead climbs. The dry coating on the sheath and core works very well and kept the rope water free while doing some glacier travel practice. Nice elongation for reducing the impact on lead falls. Perhaps a bit big and heavy for alpine use or multi-pitch lead but not too bad. I highly recommend as a good durable rope if you're only going to have one rope.

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I took it out the other day for some top roping. It's a good feeling rope with a very supple touch. Easy to knot, but it hold very tight. Everyone that used it liked it.

I love this rope, it feels secure soft and of good construction. I usually get compliments when I use it in climbs with my friends (more expert climbers) you can't go wrong with Mammut

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I use this rope for sport climbing in the great outdoors. The rope feels great on falls and takes. It stretches just enough to save your spine on larger falls, but it is also tight enough to allow you to take reasonably. The rope is plenty durable, even after some of the sharper edges we've run it over. The rope may be a little heavy for some, but I enjoy the feel for sport and top rope climbing. It knots easily and holds strong. A great rope for top roping and lead climbing.

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I've never been disappointed with a Mammut rope. They're strong, very durable, and handle well, with a nice dynamic stretch for soft falls. I climb sport, trad and multi-pitch and this rope stands up to a beating.

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
Love this rope. Its my first rope and has been a great work horse rope! I have really abused it (not in a bad way, just worked it hard), and its held up great. It ties knots great and handles great through a belay device. It has recently been kinking on me a little bit, but I worked it out today but letting it hang freely and unwind itself. I think it was mostly due to the fact that I lowered off a sport route on some narrow edged biners that caused it to twist around itself a bit.
I hand washed this rope and it didn't really seem to clean all that well, don't know what thats about...maybe ill try it braided in the machine.
The center mark is starting to fade and was already a little hard to see on the dark color. I would have liked this rope in orange, yellow, or green since I do a lot of climbing in CO where the rock is darker, so this color tends to blend in sometimes.
Bottom line: Love this rope, has held up amazingly well, nice to take sport falls on, and is just a great rope. I think Mammut makes some of the best ropes.

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
Bought it two nights ago, used it at Rocky Butte. I liked it. It felt good to belay with, nice and thick compared to my Tusk 9.8, but not bad. Took a fall, not far, but it felt almost way to elastic in comparison to the Tusk. My wife hated the rope and wants me to take it back, thus the 4 star rating. She wants another Tusk 9.8, she loved that one, but I had my qualms with it.

Comments about Mammut Matterhorn 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I have used this rope on one or both days of every weekend since I purchased it at the beginning of summer. I have had no problems with it except it twists a little bit which can get a little annoying after a while. Other than that the rope has given me new life, literally.
