Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

The idea behind the RunLite 4 is good...the major problem I have with it is that the bottles can fall out of the belt easily. If you're running with headphones, you obviously can't HEAR the bottles click into the belt (or hear them fall out), even though it feels like they're secure. I've lost two bottles in previous runs and almost lost another one in 95+ heat the other day. Luckily, I was able to recover the latter. Additionally, if you're successful in locking the bottles in place, they're difficult to remove while running. This is somewhat helped by the design that allows the bottles to be oriented horizontally or vertically. The neoprene storage pouch is great for keys, ID, and gel packs, but it would probably work better with a zipper (like the Runlite 2) instead of the small velcro patch. If I had to buy a hydration belt all over again, I think I would look for something else that's more secure.

I've used it only once for a 20 mile run. It was comfortable, didn't bounce much once I got it situated, and the bottles were easy to remove and replace with one hand and without breaking pace. The Amphipod bottles are easier to access than Fuel Belt bottles.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

More comfortable than most hydration options, though it does constantly inch up if you try to wear it below your natural waist (though this may be less of a problem if you are not female). My biggest gripe is that the flask placement can interfere with your arm swing while running. Overall, it's more comfortable than hand-held hydration options; less comfortable than a camelback, but with the advantage of seeing exactly how much water you have left.

Great hydration belt. The bottles are really easy to get out and they click back in, so you don't need to look at them and can focus on your runs. The only bad thing is the caps need to be really tight or it will leak a bit.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

While the hydration belt does accomplish its purpose of carrying water, it is VERY uncomfortable for small female runners. Not easy to adjust to the right fit, rides up to natural waist inhibiting breathing, or jostles at waist causing stomach upset. Most uncomfortable run I've ever had.

Use this belt for running/training runs. 32oz may not be enough for runs longer than 15 miles, but good for mid-distances. A little tricky to get the bottles off the belt, but they snap in easily and hold in well. Like the option of turing the bottles sideways. Overall a nice option for hydration needs.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

When I purchased this product I thought it would be great for distance running but it didn't work out for me. The belt kept riding up onto my waist and would turn around. The most annoying thing was my forearms would rub on the top of the flasks because the belt rode so high. If the belt would stay on top of my hips I think it would have been more comfortable. This product is probably more suited for male runners.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

I've tried handheld bottles, hydration backpacks and slant-bottle waist packs, and this is the ONLY one that's even MINIMALLY acceptable for running. Other hydration options bounce, inhibit pelvic rotation, create weight imbalances, or all three.

I'm 5'3", 120#, female and very short waisted. The only way that fit is an issue for me, is that small is a little small for me and medium is way too big. I wish there was a little more overlap in sizes. Because the bottles can be positioned anywhere on the belt, they do not have to interfere with my arm swing.

Bottles snap out very easily. You just have to squeeze them a little. When they're snapped in correctly they're very secure. The only problem I have is that it's not always obvious when the bottles aren't completely snapped in. When they're not, they will fall out.

Also, any pack has to ride at your natural waist to avoid bounce. Sure it looks dorky - get over it.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

I've been carrying my 4 bottle amphipod on long runs for about a month. I'm totally satisfied. You do have to be careful snapping the bottles into the clips, but I have not dropped as many as I have with other systems using slanted carriers or elastic straps. It is adjustable enough that I can position the bottles far enough back so my elbows do not hit them. I am a mid-sized male with a 34" waist. You can snug the belt up to comfortably wear it with no bounce. The pocket could be bigger, but is functional for carying extra socks, cell phone, bandaids. I'd give this 5 stars, but nothing on this earth is perfect.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite 4 Hydration Belt - 32 oz.:

I have used this belt through the summer hoping to adjust to it since it cost quite a lot. It is very uncomfortable to wear. It is constantly rotating around no matter how I adjust it unless it's so tight it's bothersome. When the bottles rotate to the back it pulls on my abdomen and presses where it's hard to breathe. The bottles are small, hard to click into place. The pouch is fairly useless because it just lightly velcros around and certainly doesn't hold nutrition for the longer runs. Can't somebody please invent something that will hold salt tablets, food, car key, cell phone without turning it into a backpack? I am a small woman which may reflect the other reviewer's problem in attempting to adjust it. I would not recommend it.
