These pants worked well during my hike through Colorado. The only problem is that the zipper got stuck on the pant cloth and I could not get into my pocket until days later when I had to break the zipper. Do not put anything important in the leg pocket! They are inexpensive so still worth it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
