Ideal for all-purpose camping, this roomy rectangular bag has the added benefit of duck down insulation for compressible warmth.

  • High-quality 600-fill-power duck down is warm, lightweight and compressible; smooth polyester taffeta lining feels soft next to your skin
  • Baffle construction and differential cut work together to eliminate cold spots and allow insulation to loft fully for maximum warmth
  • Convenient full-length, two-way locking zipper is backed by a draft tube to keep warmth in; zips open to form a quilt
  • Internal loops allow attachment of coordinating Kelty fleece liner (sold separately) to increase warmth
  • Pad loops provide attachment points to keep your sleeping bag and pad together so you don't roll off onto the cold ground (straps sold separately)

Good convertible bag

I bought this fully convertible bag to use in Africa as a bed cover/duvet. It works for this purpose and I like it a lot.
It is warm enough for indoor use, light and made very well.
I would prefer a lighter color to the material.
When you use it as a bed cover/duvet, half is grey and the other half black, so it would be better to have it all one outside color for this purpose.
I have found that the down tends to drop down to the sides when used as a cover as there is no stitching to prevent this.
Overall its a well made rectangular down bag, and reasonably priced.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great bag for looks and compression, but watch out for cold spots.

I sleep on my side, back and stomach. When rotating onto my side and pulling the bag somewhat tight against me, I felt a large cold spot created in that area. True, down loses some of its warmth when tight against your body, but it was only 55 degrees in my home when I tested it.
