by fromUse it every weekend! I use this bag almost every weekend when I come out of the city. The end pocket is great for the sneakers I never wear on my trips and the other end keeps all my other little stuff separated. Sometimes I wish it was bigger - but then I'm glad it isn't. Padded shoulder strap is great and I know if I'm going to be holding it that long I can always zip open the back and use the backpack straps.

by fromStudent Tested Our school purchased these packs for our GYLI group and they worked perfectly for various destinations. From 5 days aboard a freedom schooner in Boston to 10 day in the rainforest in Costa Rica, this was a very useful and practical bag. The additional backpack straps came in particularly helpful when portaging from airports, railroads and campsites!

by fromA big winner for the extended weekend! Can't say enough about this bag. I always used my overstuffed school backpack for weekend trips because it was easy to carry. Finally I spotted this bad boy on the floor under a pile of other bags in the store's luggage department, and it was love at first sight. This bag is not only HUGE inside with thoughtful compartments, but it also has the versatility to be carried on my back or slung on my shoulder or held by hand. This past winter I hauled all my skiing clothes including a helmet in this bag. I brought it to a nice hotel on another trip and it looked great. How many bags can do all of that? The shape is also perfect for the trunk of the car (there's a neat handle on the top perfect for pulling the bag out of the trunk) and it works as carry-on on the plane. The orange color I got stands out from other luggage, too. I will not hesitate to use this on week-long driving trips, though I might consider getting a Wheely-beast for more than an extended weekend flying trip. As a bonus, this bag will make your friends shamelessly jealous. My girlfriends are weekend bag connoisseurs and they were asking me what other colors this bag came in!

by fromBigger than you might really need This bag has some serious capacity... which can be good or not. This is not the bag you want to carry an expensive camera. There's no padding and the camera is likely to flop around. That said, it is a great bag, lots of pockets, high quality. If you carry a camera, check out the Osprey Porter 46.

by fromGreat bag for specific uses This bag is deceptively small -- you could fit clothes for a two-week trip in here, easily (if you pack fairly lightly). The main compartment is nice & big, and the side pockets are handy for shoes and other oddities (I usually stuff my electronics chargers in there). The top pockets are great, too -- there's almost too many pockets! I did use this once as carry-on baggage, but the bag wasn't fully stuffed at the time so it compressed a lot. It is over the dimensions for carry-on anyway, so I would recommend the cargo gym bag for a carry-on over this bag, which seems more suited for car trips or for a checked bag. I haven't had it very long so I can't speak for the durability, but it seems to be of pretty high quality. FYI, I picked the orange-ish color over the grey; I felt it would stand out more. The only real con is that if weighed down, the bag is a bit uncomfortable and awkward to carry. I haven't utilized the backpack straps yet, but it seems like they would alleviate that problem.

by fromWell made and durable. I use it every day at work to have often needed personal items. I work on the gas well sites in the Marcellus Shale area. Good capacity and well made. Not as water resistant as I had hoped

by fromThis bag is the BEST!!! This is one of the best-designed products I've ever purchased. For example, the floating liner for the laundry pocket is genius. As you generate laundry on a trip, you need more and more space for that and less and less for clean clothes. The other pockets are well-placed and well-sized as well. And what other reviews said is true - you can fit more in here than you think! On top of that, the bag is attractive and the unique color makes it easy to spot on a baggage carousel. This bag would work well for trips lasting up to a week, I'd say. You won't be disappointed.
