    Here are the coments I've gotten on this jacket: - Is your jacket inside out? - Is your jacket missing a layer? - It looks like a liner, where is the shell? - Looks cheesy. - No way would I pay [$] for that.I agree with them all, plus the inside pocket is poorly sewn; anything too big to fall through the hole in the bottom will fall out the unsewn side.The stitching quality is poor and the contrasting color (gray on black) makes it look like an unfinished garment.This jacket is not nearly as nice as last year's, either in appearance or fabric. As for functionality, I haven't had the jacket long enough to comment. My feeling is that if it works great, I don't care what it looks like. But if appearance and quality sewing matter to you, I recommend avoiding this.

      As a big and tall guy it is very difficult finding
      hiking friendly clothing so the extended sizes are much appreciated. The price is reasonable for such a high quality product.

      This soft shell jacket is useful for wide range of temps, never too hot or cold. Also, seems to breathe and repel water well. The fit in the shoulders, waist and sleeves are perfectly proportioned. Very comfortable and looks good too. Lots of handy pockets.

      It would be nice to have a few more color choices (currently only black). Possibly a draw string at the waist might be considered.

      In summary, high quality jacket at a great price.

        I ordered online- [...] At 6'8" I was a bit cynical about the sizing but this jacket fits perfectly. I was really pleased that the sleeves were long enough to accomodate my sloth-like arms!

          I have to keep very close track of this jacket. People want to try it on and then want to walk off while wearing it. I find the smooth, professional look, lines, drape, and technology of the fabric to bridge the gap between Urban Dweller and Occasional Adventurer. Although alone it does not provide sufficient protection against extreme cold, it would be an excellent addition in layers. I opted for this product over a name brand with a direction in its name and am THRILLED with my decision!
