Comments about The North Face Goliath +0 Sleeping Bag - X-Long:
The only thing keeping this bag from getting 5 stars is the sheer bulk of it. Obviously, if you are buying this bag you are a big guy and you need that extra room. I've measured a lot of bags out there, this is the largest mummy bag. I am 6'2 with big broad shoulders. I fit comfortably in this bag.
Its just a shame that the bag doesn't compress as much as you'd like it to. Be sure to buy some extra compression straps as the stuff sack leaves much to be desired.
The zipper system is great. Certain sections of my body get hot during the night. This bag allows me to vent certain areas of my body to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Comments about The North Face Goliath +0 Sleeping Bag - X-Long:
This bag is perfect for fly in or snow machine access camping, thus why I purchased this bag.
The stuff size and weight are something to take into consideration if you plan to use this on a back packing trip. The coldest temperature I have used this bag in was +5F degrees while only wearing light weight polar fleece. At that I felt very comfortable and warm along with warm toes.
The biggest seller in this bag is the size. Being 6'3", 235 lbs with broad shoulders I felt comfortable without feeling restricted as I have in the past with other bags.

Comments about The North Face Goliath +0 Sleeping Bag - X-Long:
I use this bag throughout the U.P., WI. and MN. It keeps me warm even when it is -20! I am 6'2 250# and I get lost in this bag. All the extra space I get in there keeps me warm and even keeps my water from freezing and my clothes warm for the next day. The only down side is it compresses fairly large, but I never complain when I pull the hood around my face.

Comments about The North Face Goliath +0 Sleeping Bag - X-Long:
OK it's heavyer but thats what you exspect with more room.I have used this bag several times already in snow campouts to just outright freeze your hiny cold.I'm 6'4 and 300 lbs of solid adventuring so I needed a bag that has rrrrooom.I'm not disapointed at all in this bag so strech out.If I was a 4'10 person I woulndn;t have bought a extra large bag (dah!).The weight comes with the teritory with bigger people you just have to bight the bullet. If you need the extra room and you need some comfort down to 0*then I would recomend this bag to all.
