Bought this originally for my 7 day Kilimanjaro trip. I was impressed by how easy to use and the result on my long hair. I now keep a bottle in my gym bag for those days that I need to freshen up the hair, but don't have time to do the shampoo and conditioning route during the lunch hour workout. I go though the 2oz bottle size in two washes, but you can't beat the convenience and ease!

I recently returned from a two-week field operation (field op) where we were displaced from any type of shower system. After a couple days I was ready to use this product. I didn't know what to expect. I saw these for years at the base Post Exchange (PX) and always thought it was a silly product. I have to say that this item is a MUST for those personnel going to the field or deploying to Afghanistan. I squirted some in the cup of my hand, applied and rubbed it into my hair. It lathered really well especially after squirting more directly onto my hair. At first I was skeptical that it would just wipe off clean with a towel, but I was wrong. Save for the lather, it felt as though I was using just water. The end result was that I felt freshly showered and it has a smell that is comfortably pleasing - not too strong. I used it about four times and still have half a bottle or so left.

I got a bottle of this from a friend of mine and when I used it, it felt like I stuck my head in to a vat of battery acid and it dried out my hair. My hair felt like steel wool when I was done.

I would like to give it a negative number.

the first time i used it i just tried it right out of the bottle, it left residue and didn't make my hair feel clean. next time i took about 1/2 oz and mixed it with about 8 oz of water, so my hair was wet through. this worked great! and i used less product.

This stuff is great! After 3 days without shampooing, I felt instantly great with my clean hair after using this product. It cleans well and smells good. The product is too diluted though, so you may need at least 1 oz. for longer hair. Nevertheless, I'll definitely keep using it for my future hiking trips!
