This is my favorite full brimmed hat. I wear it pretty much any time I'm outside. Packable and keeps its shape. Waterproof - I wear it in the pool too. Great all around hat!

After several hikes, up to 10+ miles in 90-95 degree heat, I have to say that I love this hat. Great protection from the sun, and no issues with breathability at all. I suppose it must be the material, as there are no obvious vents. Looks good, too!

The hat would be great except for the floppy brim. It rides the wind too much to be of any use in windy conditions. A moderate to brisk breeze lifts the brim up and exposes the face to the sun.

This is a great lid for your grape in cooler times. I live in Arizona and bake in this hat from March through October - the months when I need it the most. This is a durable hat that will adjust to fit your head perfectly. I have had mine for over a year now and it holds up and holds its shape wonderfully. Like I said though - THERE IS NO VENTILATION. No mesh, no holes, no clever flaps or anything of the sort.
