Comments about Pearl Izumi AmFIB Bike Shoe Covers:
These shoes covers are very durable and keep my feet warm in the Seattle weather. But they're not wateproof and it doesn't take long to get them wet. But, even when wet, they still keep you warm. On the other hand, they breathe quite well and are comfortable to wear.

Comments about Pearl Izumi AmFIB Bike Shoe Covers:
Great shoe covers that work well for Texas winters. 2 drawbacks. One, I use a 2-sided pedal that wears out the bottom. Had my current pair a year and need to be replaced. What will I get? Another pair of AmFIB's. Second is I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and need XL AmFIB's not L.

Comments about Pearl Izumi AmFIB Bike Shoe Covers:
I use these for cold fall and early spring rides in Minnesota. They work great although when its really cold you probably still need two pairs of socks or one heavier pair. Even when wet they still do a good job of keeping your feet warm even though they sometimes retain water when its raining.

Comments about Pearl Izumi AmFIB Bike Shoe Covers:
I have been using these covers in Minnesota in weather down to 20 degrees or so with one pair of wool socks. They have been great and have kept my feet pretty warm on my hour-long commute. As it gets colder, I plan to add another pair of wools socks.
I ordered a size large and they barely fit over my shoe (women's 9.5), but once I get them on, they feel comfortable and don't seem to pinch. I expect the sizing issue is related to the fact that my shoes are not specifically for cycling and are probably larger than typical cycling shoes.
