        I use this for my mountain bike with a 26" x 2" tire with no fit issues. I do have to maneuver it a bit to get it in, but I have never had a problem with it fitting. It may just depend on ther wheel/tire combo. That being said, it's a great solid product that saves a lot of space. Great!

        I have two of these one for my road bike one for my mountain bike. The mountain bike has 26 X 2.0 tires and fits fine. As JMike posted it does take a little more maneuvering to get into place. The only other problem (with both road and mountain bikes) is you have to be very careful or you can easily get rubber marks on the drywall.

        Over the years it has been a great space saver.

          This thing is of no use for mountain bikes as the other reviewer comments. Knobby tires are just impossible to get around the overly curved hook that holds the bike.

                I've got a mountain bike with standard 26 X 2.0 tires and its impossible to get the tire around the hook. The depth of the hook won't allow the tire to bypass the hook or the arched bars below. This may work with a road bike but forget trying it on a mountain bike. Don't trust the picture or the instructions.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
