I said I'm a minimalist but I can't imagine a better bowl. I don't know how many frills a bowl could even have. I've used this product as a bowl (obviously), a plate, a cutting board, a fan for a fire... This thing is great!

This is a great little invention - folds flat for easy packing, incredibly light, and super easy to clean. Excellent gear for gram-counters, and especially useful during multi-day treks where every ounce counts. Downsides are that with hot meals/soups it can get a little loose and hard to hold, and after many uses the flaps that hold the bowl together will weaken and break off. But for the price it can't be beat, so just get a new one. The bowl is vastly superior to the cup and plate versions. This one is a keeper.

This simple big bowl is an amazing innovation. It works well and is extremely lightweight. It functions as a large bowl, or cutting board if you lay it flat. The bowl configuration is large enough such that you can readily cut items. It easily handles hot or cold solid or liquids.
Just two of these Big Bowls hav replaced a whole lot of cookware.
These bowls are super-easy to clean when flat, and pack away flat inside your backpack; they are wonderful for lightweight backpacking.

This foldable bowl is fantastic- it folds easily and is incredibly lightweight for backpacking. It holds an ample amount and it fairly easy to grip and hold. It does require unfolding to clean (to get the crevices where food gets caught), but wipes clean and is quick drying. One small con- if you are trying to clean the bowl over a wash pit, it is a bit hard to keep water on a flat service and the bowl must be unfolded to get it completely clean.
