My girlfriend suggested I buy this brand and I haven't regretted it yet. I bought a half-size smaller than I usually wear and they fit great. No major complaints so far after a month. My only complaints are that the shoelaces that come with the shoes are way too short. I can barely tie them. I also notice that my feet sweat during any strenuous activity so they don't breathe that well.

If your looking for a great walking shoe that you can do anything in, this is the shoe for you. There is cushin right where i need it and a large toe box to boot. So on long walks when my feet expand there is no pain or discomfort. The heal is made to keep your foot centered at impact whitch is great when walking London for three days or packing thru the hills of England and Scotland.

This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I am really hard on my shoes (Work & Play) shoes. I wear these to work and whenever I'm not at work. And if I don't wear these I am wearing my Keen H2 Newports. I've had these shoes for 8 months now and I would normally have already ripped through a pair of rockports. I have a high arch and instep and have a really hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. These are comfortable, durable, and look great.I paid exactly what they are listed for on this website (currently [$]) I got my money's worth in the first 3 months of wearing these shoes. KEEN Rox!

I recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a sturdy shoe that lasts a long time. I added the Superfeet in-soles to make a fantastic shoe. The shoes have lasted a year and are still in good condition. The thick leather makes them durable. If you hate scratching the front of your new leather shoes, this will not happen with the Keen Austins because they have a rubber front upper to stop this problem. I like using them for day hikes or all-around tasks. They are great shoes for traveling.

These shoes are very durable, very comfortable for my foot type (slightly wide, high arch), and crazy versatile. I wear my army greens to work w/ casual pants, out on the town with jeans, loading musical gear on the weekends, or anytime it rains. You can do all kinds of activities for hours and your feet will feel fine, (though I prefer to hike in my Taos).
I have worn these shoes for 40 hrs a week on average for nearly 2 years, and am considering buying another pair when these finally wear out. I am rather clumsy, and typically ruin similar quality shoes in half this time. My Merrell's started coming apart after 6 months just from putting them off and on. I have owned my Taos for 3 years and used to wear them 20 hrs a week doing light hiking and they are still functional, as well (though a bit stinky). For as "broken in" as these are, they don't really smell!
You should know that all Keens fit differently by style, so you can either choose for look or for fit, but not necessarily both. I have turned many friends on to Keen, and we all wear different styles b/c we have different feet.
I have high arches, and I actually prefer these footbeds to the superfeet I wear in all my other shoes. The width is perfect for my feet, but I like wider shoes, so I would NOT recommend these for narrow or flat feet.

I wore the shoes on my trip to Asia recently and we did a lot of walking. My feet did not hurt at all after a few hours of continuous walking. I would buy them again without any doubt. The only complaint I have is; the shoe laces get untied easily perhaps because I have wider feet. It is annoying at times but other features make up this con. Size wise - even though I have wider feet, I am not complaining.

Another great foot wear solution from Keen. My wife and I have Keen water sandles and Austins. I was hoping to get a sale and get this pair! My wife is a nurse and wears her keen water sandles to work in for 12 hours. She keeps her Austins for casual wear. I wear my Austins to work in and my wear sandals for casual, kayaking, hiking, etc. I need casual Austins. I test drive shoes for hours when shopping, these were great in 5 minutes. You can't go wrong with these.

These are a great pair of kick-arounds! they are Keen so the name carries the great quality. I got them to wear to school with some jeans or slacks or to wear out to a casual restaurant. They are in between a tennis shoe and a dress shoe which makes them perfect for almost any situation. Not to mention they are extremely comfortable!
