These gel packs replaced a tube of Silver Nitrate I got from my local pharmacy to combat the stinging pain from being burned! They are a fantastic product!

I keep this stuff around the house, it's so useful! When you're burned and the pain is just too much to stand, open one of these packets and smear/dab it on the burn. Take the pain away quickly and effectively. I won't leave home without these!

Best burn product I've ever used: it really, really works...takes the sting out of those very painful scalds and minor burns that would otherwise ruin your trip! I carry a few in my med kit and in the car. Plenty in packet to reapply throughout the day. This stuff has saved my bacon several times and changed what would have been a throbbing sleepless night after an unfortunate brush (literally) with my stove into another blissful evening under the stars!

We used to keep a small bottle of Burn-Jel at the kitchen sink for those small, nasty oven/stove burns. Then all of a sudden, you couldn't find the product anymore.

I discovered it one day in our inventory/supplies catalog, but it no longer came in a small bottle. Just packages. We didn't care, we would buy it no matter how it was packaged - it truly is that good!

Then one day, my husband and I stumbled upon it while in our local REI. It was cheaper and less of a hassle than purchasing it through our supplier catalog.

I'm not one to write a review, but I'll read 'em. (Go figure.) When I saw only 1 review for Burn-Jel, I actually signed up just to be able to let you know this stuff works. It just does.

My my most recent use of Burn-Jel was two years ago. Boiling water spilt on my entire right hand, up to about two inches below my elbow. A BAD burn. Needless to say, we whipped out the Burn-Jel, slathered it all over my fingers, hand, and arm. I promise you, no less than 30 minutes later I was back at what I was doing before the accident.

There is no way I'd be without this stuff (if I can at all help it), home or camping/hiking. If you or your loved ones ever need this stuff, you be glad you had it!
