The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Everytime I need too sharpen my knife I use my Smith's 3-in-1 Sharpening System. Works with any kind of serrated edge or straight edge blade.

Comments about Smith's 3-in-1 Sharpening System:
This sharpener is fast and versatile. It quickly puts a sharp edge on any knife that I've sharpened with it. I have a few folding knives for camping, and some high quality Global knives for cooking. It puts a sharp edge on all of them. The only drawback I can see in this product is that the body construction feels cheap. Perhaps that has something to do with the country of manufacture - unfortunately, China. Time will tell if it holds up. Surely Smith could make such an item for a comparable price in the U.S., and build a little more heft into it.

Comments about Smith's 3-in-1 Sharpening System:
Used this tonight on a Frost Mora knife. Excellent. And I'm no pro at sharpening, so it needed to be semi-idiot proof. I used the diamond plate briefly then the ceramic rods and after just several swipes on each side I was sliding thru bits of paper like buttah. Before sharpening, the knife was clearly getting hung up in the paper and tearing rather than slicing. I'll be using this for all my knives (except the largets ones, ie, machetes). Can't speak to durability yet, since I just used it for the first time, but I do like it's size and weight. Easy to slide into a drawer after using or even take with, on a car-camping trip, if you'll be doing alot of cutting.
