Comments about REI Merino Wool Liner Socks:
This sock is finely woven, well made, and near indestructible. I wear it exclusively day in and day out, for work, for hiking, for travel. It has yet to show any sign of wear. It is wool, so it insulates even when wet, but seems to keep you cool as well on sweaty summer days. It's a "liner," I guess, due to its thinness, but it's a full sock in its own right as well. Being thin, it dries quickly when you have to wash it in a hotel sink -- even though wool typically isn't the fastest-drying fabric. I'm very impressed.
The only improvement I could suggest: How about a second color? A medium-gray, perhaps, to go with this dark-brown-black.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Liner Socks:
This is a great liner sock for mountaineering or any other sport that requires a liner sock. It helps to keep your feet warmer than a cheap pair, and does a good job of wicking away the sweat. Reinforced stitching on the toe makes it more durable. It's a bit pricier than I like to spend on a liner sock. However, that can be expected since it's Merino Wool. It's also worth it to spend a few extra dollars if it'll keep your feet comfortable.
