Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
This is ideal for a belay biner. I saw a comment about it being larger than the Attache and questioning the need. I find that rapping on doubles often the larger size is very convenient. I use an attache also but tend to use it more for anchors. With that said if you use a gri gri the attache is the better choice.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
I just started rock climbing. This was the first locking Carabiner that i bought. I find it easy to use and the red stripe is helpful in letting you know when it is not locked. It has been good for belaying and repelling. I have since bought three more and use them lots.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
The Petzl William biner is excellent for building anchors in multi-pitch trad climbing. The large size and large gate opening makes it easy to quickly make multiple attachments to the anchor.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
This biner is really big and heavy, Grigris don't go through it very easily. Never the less, it is great for belaying.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
The Petzl William is a larger alternative to the Petzl Attache, which is the best belay 'biner available. The William possesses the same keylock gate and red safety indicator. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out why anyone would need a bigger version of the Attache.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
This Carabiner is easy to use and understand. I just started indoor top rope climbing and the red area is great reminder to screw the carabiner close.

Comments about Petzl William Screwgate Carabiner:
I enjoyed using a friend's Petzl William locking carabiner while belaying the other day as it was pretty much what I was looking for. It had plenty of room with gear attached to it and it fit the hole in my gri-gri, compared to my other, older, screwgate biners. I also liked the bright red lock indicator making it easier to remember to lock the gate (although I noticed it was starting to fade out). When he asked me if I'd give it back to him. I wanted to say no.
