Got this slow cooker for a birthday gift so I thought I would try it at home before taking it camping. I burned the first meal I cooked. It warms and cooks very quickly. I was a little worried that I wasnt going to be able to use it the way I wanted, but the second time around on our camping trip, we kept a closer eye on the food and kept the heat on low and it did wonderful! The box and advertisement suggest all kinds of things to cook in it, but there arent any recipe suggestions or cooking suggestions in the instructions. I even checked on Coleman's site and couldnt find anything. I am excited to keep woring with it and finding more recipes! I would recommend it, but I would recommend using it once at home before taking it on the road.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
