I was constantly worried about my bike seat and stem, not only expensive, but hard to replace, esp after finding one that I actually like to use. It wraps under the top bar, to the cage under the seat, and locks to itself. It's secure and gives you peace of mind for short trips. Like another reviewer said, this is not scissor proof, but it should be enough deterrent to make a thief pass your bike to another.

It basically is exactly what it looks like -- if you've got a cheap seat and just don't want some jerk walking off with it, this will make them go get a pair of heavy-duty scissors instead.

It works great as a deterrent,simple to use in both a permanent and less permanent manner. I opted to not attach it to the frame but just run my ulock though one end of the loop when I lock it up. Anything more secure than this would just be to big and bulky to be very practical.
That being said, if your saddle is worth well over a hundred bucks, just carry it with you.
