We use it to warm up prepared meals and leftovers the next day. It's difficult to maintain exact temperature so it may be a challenge to do a gourmet meal.

This is a great little oven to use with your campground stove. We used it quite a bit while camping and love to bake mini pizzas in it. It does take a little bit of trial and error until you can make the perfect gourmet meal, but it's worth the effort!

I bought this because it folds flat and packs easy, just so I could use it as a warming drawer. We cook complete meals when we camp and keeping pancakes and hashbrowns warm while cooking eggs and bacon was the goal. Worked great. Maintaining consistant temperature is a bit tricky, but with trial and error I was able to figure it out. My friend cooked a whole breakfast dish in it and it tasted great.

My wife and I got this unit to settle a car-camping argument. She hates baking potatoes by wrapping them in foil and tossing them in among the coals. Well, she does have a point; we did have some difficulty getting baked potatoes that were completely done and evenly cooked. So, after the third disagreement over baked potatoes, we settled the argument by settling on this. We are both glad we did.

We haven't had the problem with temperature control that others have reported. There is a thermometer on the front that seems to be pretty accurate, and the unit performs very well. We bake potatoes, cinnamon rolls (really great in the AM) corn on the cob, biscuits, and so on.

The unit folds up to about the size of a small pizza box, and it's easy to set up and take down. It is sturdy enough for our use; I figure it's good for three-to-five years of regular use. We wouldn't go car camping without it.

I use this with my RV as it folds up really small to fit my limited storage space. I have yet to use it for actual cooking but use it for warming things like pies. It works great on top of a Coleman powerpack single burner stove thus freeing up the regular stove for the rest of the cooking. I originally bought the other Coleman oven REI sells but took it back and this one replaced it.

We received this as a Christmas present. It is great to bake pizza, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, cornbread, etc. at camp or in RV. It does crowd into second burner space on stoves even though you only use one burner. Great to have a single burner stove just for this! I rotate food half way through to help with even browning and rising. We love this oven!!
