I bought this for marathon training. It is very comfortable. It's easy to adjust. The small pouch is perfect for two packs of Gu. However, the capacity isn't enough for marathon training in the summer. For a long run over 12 miles, I could use two more bottles. I would recommend the belt with 4 bottles for someone who is marathon training. This would better suit someone who is training for a 1/2 marathon or 10-miler.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a good hydration belt overall. I use it for running. It's great for short runs, but I needed more capacity for the longer runs. I bought two more bottles for the belt online and now it works great on the long runs. I still have to stop and fill it up for runs over 7 miles even with the two extra bottles. However, on a 20 mile run you have to expect to stop for water sometime.
The pouch in the front is great for storing energy gels or anything else you can think of (keys, etc.) Don't expect it to hold a powerbar, but it has adequate capacity to hold plenty of gels. The belt is comfortable and doesn't move too much. However I have to wear the belt a little above my waist line and just below my belly button. If you try to wear it at your waist (the male waistline) it will slide up and move. The bottles will move some during running, but I just move them real quickly back to where I want them. I've noticed wearing them sideways moves less than wearing them vertically.

Overall I this is a great hydration belt for anyone that does runs under 6 miles. If your runs are longer, I would recommend getting the larger 4 bottle belt or be willing to buy two more bottles.
