Comments about SmartWool Microweight Long Underwear Bottoms - Women's:
This long underwear is great for wearing w/jeans & other pants. I was looking for something thin, but that would retain heat...these were perfect for me. I don't like bulky undergarments & these are far from bulky. I'm an XS & the XS fit perfectly & is true to size. Material is a great quality, washes well & more than anything, keeps me warm when I need it outdoors!

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Long Underwear Bottoms - Women's:
Smartwool cranks out awesome gear with excellent warming properties. However, the microweight undrwear just doesn't live up to its normal standard. Within less than a month of owning and wearing it on the job, the material ripped on the upper thigh. If you're looking for insulation, stick to the midweight for more durable material - the microweight is just not up to standard.

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Long Underwear Bottoms - Women's:
I've had these long underwear since last fall and I could not be more happy with them! They fit really well under pants (both hiking pants and snow pants) and they are not bulky. The long bottoms keep me warm but in the same time have amazing ability to help me not overheat. I used to be either too cold or too hot while skiing/hiking in the cold but once I started using all Smartwool as base layer my temperature control problems stopped. While I ski down the long underwear keeps me from overheating, and while I'm sitting on the ski lift the Smartwool layers keep me warm.
The Smartwool base layers are very breathable, I never feel wet in them when I workout. They are machine-washable and don't loose their softness or color. I'm a huge fan of Smartwool and I really recommend everybody try their base layers, they really are worth the money! I own several of their long-sleeve layers as well as ski socks, hiking socks, and long bottoms. All of those products pretty much changed my outdoor experiences; I'm a more comfortable skier and hiker now.
