Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
This is the first headlamp that I have ever had. I use mine mainly on early morning hikes before the sun is out. It fits well and has provided me with all the light I need. Battery life seems to last as well.

I'm so glad I bought this headlamp. I liked mine so much I decided to buy my Dad one too, and he loves it! It could be a little brighter, but it it still bright enough to do the job. The beam difusser can be really healpful and is a wonderful feature.

Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
The XP may be small, but it's incredibly bright for its size. The quality of the lamp is very good. It's comfortable to wear; I use it on runs at night, and I don't have any problems with it. I only wish that it could be brighter, but the boost mode makes up for that. Overall a pretty cool headlamp.

I just used this headlamp while backpacking in the Grand Canyon. It was a lifesaver. I used every night around the campsite. It also helped while hiking at night. It has a good range.

This was my second headlamp and considering that its only [$], it's an amazing piece of equipment. it's worth twice this price. The battery life is unreal! It's bright as all hell and really comfortable. Not to mention that its durable and looks pretty cool. If you're getting a headlamp, get this one. you will not regret it.

Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
I'm an HVAC service tech so I find myself in dark places a lot. This lets me have light wherever I look without having to move a flashlight around. I've only used it for a few days, but I love it. It's is comfortable and stays put. The light output is strong, but doesn't replace a good flashlight. I plan to buy rechargeable batteries for it and use it extensively. Don't settle for a lesser model.

Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
Carry it with me every day. Have to respond to a work site at night and during power outages. Still on original batteries 18 months later. Expensive, but well made. Has only narrow, or wide angle using built in diffuser lense, but meets my needs. Narrow beam lights a trail far enough ahead to walk fast. Three levels from pleasant reading in a tent to seach light strength when you need it.

I purchased this headlamp before heading out to Central America. I LOVE this headlamp! Unfortunately, I lost my beloved headlamp but am purchasing another one! I hate to live without it!

Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
This thing goes with me on any fishing trip. It goes with me on any backpacking trip. It's awesome, and puts other headlamps to shame. The boost feature is so bright that your campmates will hate you for "sneak attacking" them with it. Ok, It's not cool, but fun. Generally everyone who's seen it wants one when they compare it to thier lamp. The thing that is awesome about it is that it can shoot a beam over a long distance or you can slide over this difuser and shoot a wide angle beam. Even on low it's plenty of light, but when you shoot a long beam the boast lights up whatever you need to see. You will not be dissapointed if you get this thing. Great product, and a super piece of gear.

Comments about Petzl Tikka XP LED Headlamp:
I've owned a few Petzl headlamps and this one is my favorite. It's extremely bright and compact enough to be thrown into any bag or keep another one in your car for emergency. The only thing i'm not completely sold on was the weight compared to other units, but it's still very light and the brightness pays off huge especially when you're trying to find where your camp is in the middle of the night.
