Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I bought this bag for commuting to and from work/classes. At first I wasn't sure I liked it but the more I use it the more fond of it I become. It's a nice change from the ubiquitous triple striped bags you see everywhere. There are plenty of pockets throughout the bag, it holds quite a load and stays put on my back (even through a header I took one day on my bike). I have filled it with books, clothes, shoes and it seemed to swallow up everything I threw at it. There are also compression straps on the sides if you have a small load. The graphics are subtle and not very noticeable which is something I like and the new brown color is nice. One shortcoming is that the wide shoulder strap tends to fall off the shoulder with a light load on a person with narrower shoulders. Strap adjustment takes care of most of that flaw, though. It would be nice if there was some way to put an outside mesh pocket for a water bottle but not completely necessary as there is plenty of room inside for a small hydration bladder. All in all, a great bag at a decent price. I would definitely recommend it.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I went with this bag because it used the sling design and I thought it would hold better than a messenger bag. I was wrong the first time I took a left hand turn. The bag has a hard time staying in place unless you use the stabilizer belt strap. I was looking for a way so I didn't have to have cords all around my body suffocating me. It had a ton of little pockets everyone making it convenient to grab stuff but it just didn't work for me when commuting around town. I ended up returning it and buying a backpack instead. I just don't understand the whole messenger back hype. Backpacks are the way to go!

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
great bag, a little heavy and I couldn't seem to get it to stay put when riding to and from work with all my stuff in it so I switched back to a backpack and use this for walking. Now in school it's an excellent bag to put all my books in and walk around with, very tough, I just wish it had a bigger laptop pocket.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
Nice distribution of weight on the shoulder. Steady tight-fitting straps.
A little imbalanced with heavier loads like a laptop and textbooks, but this bags better than others that I have used.
The "tribal flame" reflective design on the shoulder strap is a little over the top, I would like to see more reflective straps minus the flames on my shoulder. But it matters little compared to the functionality of the bag.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I bought this bag when I started grad school and used it to commute to class. While the bag held everything I needed it to, it did shift a little much while riding with books. I tried adjusting the stability straps a number of ways but the bag still shifted (always to the left, under my arm). With lighter loads (change of clothes, lunch) the bag held fine, but when carrying a heavier load I had to make the straps so tight that it restricted my breathing while climbing.
Overall, this is my favorite bag for daily use due to it's versatility. It always seems to be able to hold whatever I need for the day. I also like that it has a classic look, but with a hip edge to it that people often comment on. Great bag, worth every penny.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I love this bag. It's durable and comfortable. The genius of the bag is in its wide array of compartments. The waterproof hip pocket is great for easy access to small essentials (wallet, keys, or MP3 player). Elastic mesh pocket on the shoulder strap is great of cellphone or walkie talkie. 3 additional pockets on the body of the bag are all zippered to keep the tiny things safe. The handle with rubber cover is super handy. Clip on a carabiner and a water bottle, a mug, or even your helmet and you're good to go.
The padding on the back and the shoulder strap are comfortable, but i have issues. Padding on the back makes the bag a little heavy and I would much rather lose the padding on the back and have that weight come from waterproof material that protects the whole bag and not just a few pockets. Also, more shoulder strap options would be great. Right now, you can only mount on your right shoulder which is the opposite of what most right handed riders like.
The bottom line is this is a great fair weather bag that is excellent for commuting to work, groceries, or a BYOB six pack. In rain go with another option.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
This is great bag, but not perfect: the main strap likes to adjust itself because the buckle is where I tend to grab the strap - and when I grab it, it adjusts without warning. Folding the top all the way over the inside is also a bit of a pain because of the curved shape of the bag. However, there's plenty of room inside, lots of pockets, and it's comfortable and stays in place when biking. Overall, pretty good!

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I had my doubts about this bag but must admit after 2 years I'm still using more often than my full sized messenger rig. The graphics are a bit overthe top but the stuff on the padded back can't be seen with it on and the flame motiff on the strap isn't too visable. Utility wise though I like it totes a 12 pack of 120z cans with ease, will do 24 if the cans are taken out of the box. Pretty waterproof although I don't get a ton of rain down south to really test that, and can mount a blinky on the lid and not loose it. Stabilizer strap is kinda goofy to use on the fly and pretty much is a must with any load in the bag. But I managed to get used to it. Keep in mind this is a right shoulder bag, which I prefer but many don't, but all in all a decent bag...if you catch it on sale or close out.
I have also used it as an airline carry on and I'll say this size works way better for cramped plane aisles than my full size messenger bag.

Comments about Novara Buzz Messenger Bag:
I wanted this bag to work. But it is just too awkward in design. The wide oddly shaped shoulder strap severely limits the comfortable positions the bag can get in and forced it to hang off my shoulder
tipped back - worsened by heavy loads. I returned it.
