Cover ground quickly in the backcountry or blast through a bushwhack approach with the Outdoor Research Verglas gaiters for women. They are designed to move fast and carry light.

Ultralight, waterproof and breathable 3-layer Ventia™/nylon ripstop upper section extends down outside of leg for maximum breathability
Rugged 500-denier Cordura® nylon lower section resists snow and rain while offering excellent durability where you need it most
Cordura nylon section rises higher on inside of ankle for best protection
Low-profile leg shape reduces snagging; tapers slightly at ankles for a sleek fit
Asymmetrically shaped bottom edge is curved to fit boots evenly with no gaps, keeping dirt, twigs, scree and snow out of boots
Easy-access VELCRO® brand closures open in front for quick on/off plus they can be micro-adjusted for a custom fit
Tops feature comfortable 3/4-inch nylon webbing straps with low-profile cam buckles to keep gaiters from slipping down legs
Double riveted boot lace hooks grab laces, helping keep gaiters in place

I am getting ready to buy my 2nd pair of these...my 1st pair is losing its velcro stick after, oh, 15 years or so! Only use them in the snow as they can be hot/non-breathable. I bought mens as they are slightly longer & I am 5'8". I love the way I can quickly put them on & don't have to buckle up the top clasp because they are stiff enough to stay in place.

Bought these last fall and have used them on many hikes since. They have kept mud, rain, and snow out of my boots. I couldn't be happier with them. They are also cute and I love the little flower detail.

I wear these babies from playing outside in the snow, to scaling the side of mountains and I have yet to second guess them. I got the mediums and they fit perfectly over snowpants and baselayers. They stay put and keep every bit of snow out. Not to mention, they're cute and blue (always an important quality when picking out gear....maybe not, but it helps)

I am a mountaineer-in-training, and I do caving, winter camping, and various off-trail hiking. I use these gaiters all the time and have never had a leakage problem. They fit great when I have plenty of layers on, but they do not adjust tight enough when I am wearing less layers/thinner pants. Also, the strap at the bottom slips out of its little slot, so the end of the strap flops around and I'm afraid I'm going to step on it and rip the strap off. Other than that these are pretty durable, breathable, and waterproof! Worth the cost!

I borrowed a friends pair this summer for a week-long hike in the Colorado Rockies. Had to cross a lot of streams, the trails were rugged, and encountered some snow as well. These gaiters were great and kept the dirt and debris out of my boots and socks. They were also fairly water proof. When the water gets above the black fabric and onto the blue it seeps through. The Velcro worked well, but I had to play with it a few times to make it fit me well. They hugged close to my legs so I didn't feel like I had garbage bags tied to my feet. Also, they stayed up without having to tighten the top very much. I could even keep it looser to allow for some air to come in. My only con with these is that they didn't breath as well as I would like, especially on hot days. But if you don't mind a little sweat than I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a pair for hiking, backpacking, and playing in the snow. They are a great lower cost pair of gaiters. And they make your feet look smaller! I have big feet so that is a plus.

found them easy to put on overall once got used to the velcro placement but do have a bit of a problem with having a smaller foot and having the hook stay hooked on the boot staying taut. So had to work with that a bit.

I bought these for my wife along with snowshoes a few weeks ago. The gaiters are easy to put on and are great at keeping the snow out and my wife's pants dry. Recently she had to walk through snow covered with almost an inch of ice. She told me about it since the ice kept scraping her legs as she kept breaking through it but her gaiters were still like new. Pretty tough material, and the marine and black design is nice to look at. Wish I'd gotten her a pair sooner, just for anytime in the snow.
