The nikwax products are unbeatable. TX Direct revives waterproofing and ventilation. We make a yearly laundr-o-mat trip to TX Direct and Polar Proof everything in our winter and hard weather wardrobe. There are funny little gunk balls in the pockets and crevaces of the washed clothes but they wear away after a couple days.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      It's so easy to use and the results are great! I used it with the recommended Nikwax cleaner. I like the results after washing my Northface ski jacket and pants and will continue to use it in the future.

      After getting my Arc-Teryx Theta jacket filthy helping someone change a tire, I washed the Gore-tex jacket with Nikwax Tech Wash and treated it with TX treatment. Both products worked great and almost all the stains came out in the first wash.
