Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I have put about 1,800 miles on the tires and they are showing little wear. I have only experienced two flats since I put the tires on my bike. Each time a Goat Head punctured the tire on the side close to the rim.

They have been used on the bike trails in Northwest Indiana, Denver, CO., Boulder/Longmont, CO.area roads, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and along the Greenbelt in Boise, ID. Boise has to be the Goat Head capital of the US.

They are the first tire to be almost Goat Head proof. I pull 4 to 5 Goat Heads out of the tires after each ride along the Boise Greenbelt with no flats! The tire runs over glass and sticks without any problems.

I have had two flats in Denver when Goat Heads stuck the tire near the rim.

It is a good thing the tires are so durable, because they are not the easiest to take off and put back on. They also weigh a bit more than some of my past tires, but they have withstood a pounding on the roads and trails across the mid-west and west.

Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I bought a set over a year ago and they are still going strong after 20+ miles a day, 5 days a week!

I'm a pretty big dude (6'2", 250 lbs) and they are still holding up great. Never had a flat and I cut across desert and funky lots all of the time. I've never spilled on them once (not even on the rain-slick, greasy Las Vegas streets. They tend to make a weird "octopus tentacle" suction noise when you corner tight, but I got use to that pretty quickly. I'll definitely buy them again.

Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I ride my MTB on paved surfaces 75% of the time (~10mi a day) but was hesitant to go to a road oriented tire. I didn’t want to lose the ability to ride the trails near where I live. I talked to an REI employee and he recommended this tire. He mentioned that he uses them and doesn’t bother to change tires for casual trail riding. He also mentioned that I would be surprised at the amount of grip they have and I was. So far no I have had no problems on packed dirt/gravel trails and I’m having a much better experience on pavement. Great tire especially for [$]on sale.

Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I bought these tired because I cycle 25 to 80 miles on the street, 5 days a week. I was wearing through my off road tired in under 3 months, plus had lots of resistance. Being about 100 degrees, I bought these hoping they could last in the Southern Arizona heat, and make comuting easier. As usual I found myself at the entrance to a park, with miles and miles of trails calling to me. Skepticly I went, and to my suprise, I only had 2 minor slips. Once on some rock that was half sand, on top of red, and another on a bunch of pea gravel over rock. So over all, accept on the light sand over rock, I had just as good traction, if not better. The reverse tread does real, real well, even off road. Downfall, makes funny noise when cornering hard on street(but corners twice as good as a treaded tire.

Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I'm way pleased with these. First of all they look great on my Cannondale F4 and so far all I have is praise for how they handle. Really it's too soon to say how they wear I've only had them on about a month but handling is excellent I ride anywhere between 6 and 20 miles a day, mostly on pavement or hard packed dirt, which is often wet (the rainy season is just getting going in Japan as I type this in late May) and so far no slipping or sliding just traction galore, for anyone who's seen what roads and *sidewalks* (if you want to call them that) look like in smaller Japanese towns and the countryside in between, well it's more like trails really I hit lots of curbs, potholes, rocks and loose volcanic gravel along the riverbank, ride up or down the steep angled slope to get on/off the sea wall, etc etc there's even tile on a section of the sea wall with a sharp 90 degree corner i've taken it in the rain pretty fast and not so much as a slip, I'm really impressed with them if they keep wearing well I'll definitely buy the same again.

Comments about Serfas Drifter City Tire - 26 x 2.0:

I was disappointed by these awesome looking tires. They are like rotating suction cups and really slowed me down. Great grip but I felt like I was riding into a stiff wind with these. I want to go as fast as possible on my commute. I returned these for the Michelin City Trekking (1.85 x 26 inch) tires, which are fast and I love.

I put these on my mountain bike about 1,000 miles ago. No flats, and the bike feels much more efficient. I ride almost exclusively on the street, so I cannot comment on their off-road capabilities.

I ride almost every day between 12 and 18 miles, mostly on bike paths. After 2 nasty falls with regular knobby tires, I bought these for better wet traction. They have been great so far...mine have about 900 miles on them and they appear almost new.
