The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Superfeet Green Premium Insoles - High Volume:
These insoles were recommended by my PT for my collapsing arch in one foot. He didn't tell me exactly which ones to buy (ie. green, blue....), but thanks to the fantastic staff at our Medford, OR store I ended up with the green ones and a size I would never have bought. They helped to determine which size I needed by where the arch was sitting on my foot. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe size, but ended up with a size 10 insole! Trimmed these babies down to fit my shoes and they are perfect! Thank you Medford staff!
I also have IT/knee related pain and these have made a big difference. These feel very hard when you wear them the first few days, give them a week...they break in perfectly.

Comments about Superfeet Green Premium Insoles - High Volume:
I love my hiking boots already, but the Superfeet insoles made them feel even better! I balked a bit at the price, but the REI sales person assured me that I'd love them...but if I didn't, I could return them...trimmed to fit my boots and all. I did the recommended break in period with the Superfeet insoles, but I have to say that they just felt right from the get-go. I've used them on a 9-mile hike and my feet felt great from start to finish (Yeah, I was still happy to put on my sandals afterward). I don't really have pronation issues, but my arch definitely takes a beating on long treks and I'm prone to heel blisters. Knock on wood...so far, both problems solved. Try them!

I got these after I wore out the insoles in my Merrell Phaser Peak Hiking Boots. These are by far the best insoles I have ever used.

Comments about Superfeet Green Premium Insoles - High Volume:
I was told to buy these because I had injured my ankle. I work them religiously for a few weeks. Immediately I had less pain by the end of the day when I wore them. After a few of weeks, the swelling decreased.
They do take up quite a bit of volume, so they really only work in shoes with removable insoles. They certainly won't work with high heels or very trendy shoes, but I am beyond wearing anything that doesn't feel good on my feet.

These insoles were recommended by my podiatrist. I went to see him because of the pain to my feet especially when I stood up for a long time at work. He said my feet were flat and recommended these insoles. Have been using them for over 5 years. No pain

Comments about Superfeet Green Premium Insoles - High Volume:
I've worn these every day for over a year since I got them. They definetly take getting used to because they are so supportive. Although after 18 months the support has failed but for the milage I've put on them has made them well worth the money. The only other insole I would consider would be custome orthodics but these are tough to "walk" away from...
Pun intended! I wouldn't hesitate recomending these. Only thing to be aware of is go into an REI to be properly sized, I needed a size I would not have expected, the REI staff in East Hanover NJ was great in finding the right size.

Comments about Superfeet Green Premium Insoles - High Volume:
Some users complain about the price - and they overlook the fact that custom orthodics can be several hundred times the price of Superfeet.
The insole does feel hard - but like with a firm mattress or chair with dense foam, you want support and the rigidity in the long run is more comfortable than a soft piece of cushioning. It may seem counterintuitive but we know this to be true.
The green insole works great in my hiking boot in which the ball and toe of the boot is small. More front padding - like in the orange insole would be more supportive in a sneaker. Superfeet conforms to sound principles of biomechanical support of the feet.
When you can walk in proper alignment, without pain for miles, you know the footwear is doing the job its supposed to do. Few footwear manufacturers take the time to develop and supply an insole that provides genuine support for the feet. This is where Superfeet does fill the gap.
When it comes to your health and well being, its not too much to pay a fair amount for an orthodic that makes walking, running, hiking, etc. actitivies to really look forward to. Its true Superfeet won't work for every one. In that case, a custom orthodic is probably better for those people. For most of us though, we'll benefit from it.

I needed more support from the insoles in my pair of Mizuno Inspire 9. Even though this product could be a little bit more comfortable and soft, it does a great job as far as support and stability. I use those insoles every time I run.

These were recommended by my physical therapist. They are terrific. In line dancing, they are comfortable, no pain in your feet. I use them in most of my shoes. Great arch support.
