    I receieved two of these bags as a gift. I knew I wanted a canvas tote for many uses and these surpassed my expectations. They are made of durable material, the REI logo is a total bonus since they stand apart from everyone elses, (there are no REI's in our neck of the woods) and the fact that I have two of them means that one is always emply and ready for the next adventure.

      I've had my bag for years and it's still as good as new. I haul heavy loads of library books in it every week. It carries my clothes and toiletries when we go for a long camping weekend, or all our supplies for a picnic or day at the beach. I also use it to tote a bed-size quilt-in-progress, hoop, and sewing supplies. This large capacity bag is sturdy enough to carry anything you could want to put in it.

        This is my go-to bag. We own two of them and have no complaints. It's a great all around tote, but what I use it for mostly is grocery shopping. It's sturdy, so you can fill it with as much as you can carry and it holds up in the washing machine. The outside pocket is great for coupons or stashing some of those produce bags so you can reuse them.

        What sets this tote apart from the other reusable totes? The fabric is thicker than most and the handles are long enough to wear over your shoulder, which is great for those heavy loads!
