The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
I have been using this mirror on my mountain bike for over 5 years and have recently added it to my flat bar commuter bike as well. It is highly versatile and adjustable; you can set the angle easily and precisely to match your riding position and purpose. The field of view is large and clear. This thing is tough! Even after multiple spills on my mountain bike there are still only a few scuff marks on the plastic. The mirror swivels safely out of the way if you fall on it or pass a tree too closely. Riding in traffic is a breeze with this mirror, cars are visible from a long distance. Overall a great buy.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
Just moved back to Los Angeles and wanted to add some safety for commuting to work, yes biking in L.A. around clueless drivers who aren't used to cyclists. Was looking for a sturdy and practical mirror that wasn't going to vibrate, rattle loose, or be difficult to adjust like the junk I've tried before. Found the answer. Don't let the assembly required intimidate you, once it's installed, the myrricle is awesome; the pivot points are perfect, I can fold it out of the way if I'm weaving around light posts or cars, then flip it back in position; the mirror gives you a perfect wide clear view, no vibration so it's not blurry, and it's tough. Just wiped out yesterday when I braked hard to avoid hitting a stray bunny (jumped out of nowhere, some little kid is in tears right now to loose her little bunny), the mirror slammed the pavement too, but thanks to it's adjustability, it folded and absorbed the shock upon impact, and the mirror glass remained intact. Fantastic. And if any part breaks, you can order each individual replacement part from the manufacturer. Tiny washers were missing from my package, I emailed and called the company, and I got the missing parts in the mail in two days, no problem.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
I like practical products that are easy to use and offer big value; I like this mirror.
Simple to install and intuitive to use on the road, this mirror is my new favorite bike accessory. The swivel-outta-the-way feature is nice and doesn't seem to compromise its sturdiness.
Since I mostly ride with headphones, this mirror gives me extra peace of mind and visual information critical to both my safety and enjoyment. I see cars clearly (lots of SUVs in these here parts!) and the size is sufficient to allow my peripheral vision to do the work.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
Install was longer than expected (took me about 10 minutes), but thats because I had to poke a hole into the side of my handlebar cover. I didn't make a perfect sized hole so I ended up just cramming the mirror into the handlebar piece. Once that part was in, the rest was simple. installed onto 2010 Cannondale F7
I had a cheap bike mirror prior to this and it didnt stay in one place. I was adjusting it every other minute to keep an eye on traffic behind me.
This product isn't like that at all. It stays firmly in one place. If I need to adjust it, it takes microseconds and will stay in that place. Plus the mirror produces a clear reflection (ie not convex or concave).
It fogs up easily, however, i live on an island in the pacific and its humid out here. Fast and easy to wipe off though
Pics included, it's on the right side since I have to ride on left side of road.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
Good product. Bought a cheaper one first from Cat Eye - luckily it didn't fit my handlebar, because after inspecting it I realized it wasn't very good.
This one costs more, but it is worth it. I commute 8 miles round-trip every day (and often late at night) in busy Orange County, CA streets and after adding this mirror I feel much more confident. For a commuter using busy streets, a good mirror is really a necessity.
Any mirror that fits will work, of course, but this one has many positive qualities that I feel make it better than cheaper models.
It is extremely durable. The installation instructions say to not worry about breaking it, and to screw it in as tightly as you physically can. So I did, and what doing that does is make you realize how well-made it is. It really isn't going to break.
It adjusts easily and stays in place - it is a little stiff while adjusting, but goes right where you want it, and only moves if you want it to (or if you hit something with it, I guess.)
It is made of glass so is easy to clean and won't scratch easily. Never had a problem with visibility even though it gets quite dirty and dusty here.

I installed this mirror on my mountain bike for riding around on Seattle streets. It was easy to install and feels solid on the bike. Now that I have this mirror, I feel more confident riding around on city streets.

Don't worry about the assembly required, it was very easy to assemble and installed quickly. I use it on my bike that has cruiser style handlebars.

Comments about Mirrycle Mountain Bike Mirror:
Plastic cracks when you tighten it up. Called manufacturer for the replacement part. Replaced cracked part and it cracked some where else. Looks like too brittle of plastic was used and insufficient wall thickness. It finally fell of the bike and the glass mirror cracked. Threw the product out! My biggest mistake was not buying at REI for easy return even though price was higher.

Picked this up on a whim at the Cary, NC store for use on my commute to work. I've been riding to work for several months & never really thought about having a mirror...never knew what I was missing! No more having to peek over my shoulder! This mirror has made my commute much safer.
Installation was a breeze; I wasn't sure how well this mirror would work with my grips (Ergon GP1) but no problems there. The installation instructions where very clear and very accurate: the screws are TIGHT going into the brass inserts. Very adjustable and seems to hold adjustments well.
Overall a great product!
